To care for our three bedridden residents, I use a special cleansing foam. Maybe someone would like to donate a piano to the shelter? It doesn’t have to be new, just in good working condition. Our grandmothers need more joy—this would truly entertain them. And who knows, maybe someone would even give a little concert, like the students from the Georgian-German School “Skhivi.” Oh, what a wonderful day that was! I’ve also been thinking of enclosing the area where our residents sit during the day, to shield them from rain and wind. Metal-plastic would be best. I’m seeking help with this as well. The “Lazaret” shelter regularly needs medications, diapers, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies. Visiting the grandmothers in person is a lovely idea! This day will bring them so much joy and become a lasting memory!

Maya lost the ability to walk during her pregnancy. She gave birth to a wonderful son, Saba, but she herself stopped walking. It turned out that it was due to inflammation in her spinal cord. “For these four years, while my Saba was growing, I couldn’t even dress myself,” Maia says. “I couldn’t even straighten a sock on my foot. I couldn’t stand up or walk to the bathroom. I was just alive and breathing. What kind of life is that?” We will show you the results of the tests and treatments that Maia received thanks to the friends of the Chernovetskyi Fund. Maia can walk with crutches, do exercises, and even do simple household chores. Maia has overcome her deep pessimism and believes that she will be able to take her son to kindergarten on her own! Thanks to the treatment, Maia has achieved real results. Thank you for helping her regain her spirit and believe in a positive outcome. However, there are still many problems where your help is needed. Maia has no means to feed or clothe her little son. There’s no furniture in the house except for the beds, and there are no comfortable living conditions. Please consider joining the project as a constant supporter!

The fact that Zakro is alive is a real miracle! The young man ended up in a wheelchair after a giant aneurysm ruptured and, as a result of a brain hemorrhage, he underwent a complex, multi-hour operation; surgeons had to remove half of his skull and then close his brain with a special mesh. Zakro spent a long time in a coma, and only his mother’s prayer and God’s blessing helped him stay alive! Please have mercy for the mother who has been suffering with her seriously ill child for 12 years! She begs the Lord to prolong her days so she can see her son take his first independent steps! After all, if she is gone, Zakro will be all alone in this world, and there will be no one to give him a glass of water! If you have read this post to the end, be sure to help the family! Can you imagine a dying, still young 41-year-old woman, gravely ill with a constant temperature of 39–40 degrees, sometimes managing to get out of bed to collect scrap metal just to buy medicine for herself and her severely ill children, and of course, some food? At least for them – for the children – she loves more than life! A horror that cannot be described in words! God forbid any of us to experience such a thing!!! We ask the friends of the Chernovetskyi Fund to respond and take this family’s plight as their own! The most important thing God has allowed us to do in this life is not to pass by someone else’s misfortune! 
First and foremost, we need to take care of the mother. If something happens to her, God forbid, we will never forgive ourselves!  It’s unimaginable how the sick children will cope without their mother. Mom is sacred to them, that’s all they have.

Lazare: I don’t remember what I ate yesterday… Mom brings food from the free kitchen, but it’s not enough for everyone. There are four children in our family. Whoever gets to it first, eats. I didn’t get any because I was playing outside. So I stayed hungry. God forbid anyone should have to look into their own children’s hungry eyes every day and not be able to feed them. Let’s unite and help these wonderful children. We believe in your kindness and compassion! Doing good is easier than it seems!

This is 15-year-old Gigi. The child has had cerebral palsy since birth. He cannot walk, he cannot even stand for a second. The poor child crawls on his knees. And he cannot speak either, he only makes indistinct sounds. The little boy suffers and asks for help with his eyes. The child’s condition is complicated by microcephaly, which is a rare neurological disease. The child is a disabled person of the first group. According to doctors, as a result of appropriate treatment and surgery, the child will be able to move and speak. We have a chance to perform a miracle! This is exactly the case when we can show God our best human qualities!
