Due to the incessant itching, the baby cries day and night without relief! “Nicholas’s whole body is covered in sores. His skin is cracked, itchy, and bleeding. Exhausted, he is ready to tear his skin off, and when he is not allowed to scratch his wounded body, he cries and screams so much that it breaks my, my sick mother’s, and my husband’s hearts! – says Mariam, the boy’s mother. And all this horror happens just because the doctors made the wrong diagnosis. Such a cute boy! Poor thing almost died during the week he spent in the intensive care unit!”

This is Roma Tordia. He is 18 years old and has been in a coma for a year. Roma Tordia was once a successful professional dancer, a multiple gold medalist, a son that all of Samegrelo and Georgia were proud of. This exceptionally talented boy was predicted to have a great future. But on July 3, 2023, a tragic accident turned the sky of Samegrelo black. The thunderous news broke: “Roma was in an accident and seems to have died.” The doomed cries of his mother and grandmothers reached the heavens. Even the rocks wept for the boy who grew up as an orphan.

“I beg you, please don’t cry over me,” says Tamara. “I’m still alive and I believe that I’m not alone among my Georgian compatriots! There is still a chance to get me on my feet The only problem is that my mom doesn’t have any money at all! She’s even more unfortunate than I am. This cursed fibroma is dragging her into the grave!! And yet, despite the doctors’ strict ban, she continues to carry me around! Why does she deserve such sorrow? She’s just an ordinary Georgian woman!”

Just yesterday, I was a perfectly happy and healthy woman, with my beloved husband and child.
I love all of you too! I have only a little time left, but I’m so afraid to spend my last days on the street like a homeless dog. God will reward you for your kindness, my dear compatriots!

Badri (father, 54 years old): It was 4 in the morning when we heard a loud crack. I grabbed the sleeping children and ran outside. The day before the tragedy, we decided to move to the next room— perhaps we sensed something bad was coming. We went to sleep with fear, worrying that the ceiling might collapse on us. And the worst happened. Friends, these little angels can melt the hardest of hearts. How could anyone remain indifferent to such a plight?  Eight children are begging us for help. They don’t want to live in these terrible conditions; they just want to go home. Let’s unite and repair the roof for this family, who has given Georgia eight wonderful and decent children. 

Khatuna is 11 years old. She has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. She can’t walk or talk. The poor girl can’t even eat on her own. Oh God, how this small and delicate child suffers! Khatuna was born perfectly healthy. At one month old, after doctors gave her an injection, her condition worsened. In Georgia, there are countless cases where angelic boys and girls suffer due to the negligence and ignorance of doctors. And who holds them accountable? Their punishment is limited to the confiscation of their license for a month. Then they continue working, and who knows how many more children’s lives they will ruin. Kind people, the girl urgently needs a stem cell transplant and a special wheelchair! And do you know what could result from this operation? There is a great chance that the child will be able to talk and walk. This would mean that this little angel will be given a new lease on life, and you could rightfully consider yourselves her saviors! And our true Savior, as we always quote from the Bible, will extend His reliable hand to you in your own most challenging moments! For this miracle to happen, all it takes is to empathize with the suffering and pain of this unfortunate child and her mother.
