In our beloved Georgia, many people are not just below the poverty line – They are in tremendous need! And the worst part is – they have no one to rely on except for us. If we don’t help, some will become lifelong incurable cripples, others will die, and still others will perish from unbearable suffering! Schoolchildren won’t attend school – they have nothing to put on! They lack basic gadgets! They’re alone – like in a wild desert – alone with sorrow and suffering! Social allowance in Georgia are lower than in many African countries! The country is emptying: no jobs, no future… Without us, friends! And we just have to give them a chance at life, to give them pride in the country, in its good people, who for thousands of years have historically helped all who have come to us!

By helping the poor, the sick and the unfortunate, you lend a helping hand not to them – but TO THE SON OF GOD! “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me… Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:35-36, 40)

The Lord gives us a chance, friends, to give the most precious gift in the world to Nikoloz: to give him life! The little one has cancer. Three years ago, his stomach started aching, and his mom thought he had eaten too many chips, but the pain only became stronger! “And the doctors gave an almost fatal ‘verdict’ – KIDNEY CANCER!” Nikoloz (7-year-old): Yes, Auntie, I have cancer. They took me to hospital and did not let me out from there. They told me: ‘If we let you go, you will die’ – and I got scared! Very scared! Then they urgently ‘flew’ me to Germany, took X-rays, then cut my stomach open and found cancer there. I don’t know what it is, what it looks like – but I know it’s scary! They removed my kidney. Then I came back home, but I felt bad again and we had to go to Germany again, and they removed my spleen and something else. Then they gave me a lot of medicines, did some radiation, transfusions, and chemotherapy to shrink and stop the cancer. I felt better. I won’t die,

Gio has been in a coma for three months. The only sign of life he shows is opening and closing his eyes. Just think how unbearable this is—a 21-year-old man has to spend his days in a hospital bed, breathing through a machine. He receives food and water through a feeding tube. But the worst part is the seizures tormenting Gio. They’re so severe they twist his arms and legs. How does he endure such suffering? How does he manage to survive? His mother is by his side 24/7, holding him tightly until each seizure passes. Heartbroken, she clings to her son’s hand and constantly talks to him, hoping he can hear her: “Gio, my son! Wake up!” Gio’s young and happy life was shattered in an instant. On September 15, 2024, he was involved in a horrific accident in Germany, where he had gone to work. Multiple injuries to his body and organs weren’t as devastating as the blow to his chest. His heart stopped. No one gave him a chance—no guarantees, no false hopes. Doctors told his parents to pray for a miracle. And the miracle happened. Gio managed to survive. German managed to bring the boy back from the brink of death. His heart started beating again, but he didn’t regain consciousness and fell into a coma. The diagnosis is grim—brain infarction. Fortunately, Gio still has a chance to come back to life because he has already won the biggest battle. Please, save this young man! He won’t be able to cope without your help!

At 12 years old, Nikoloz was carefree, playing soccer with other boys, training hard, and living an active life. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until, before an upcoming tournament, a routine medical check revealed a congenital kidney condition—hydronephrosis. Doctors found that his left kidney was completely destroyed, leaving only one option: surgery to remove it.

Friends, this boy has endured a grueling three-year fight with cancer. He has bravely undergone 9 rounds of chemotherapy, 31 radiation treatments, and several complex surgeries, including the removal of his right kidney and a bone marrow transplant. For a moment, it seemed like the worst was behind him, that the danger had passed. But the cancer came back—a relapse. Neuroblastoma progresses rapidly, spreading metastases throughout the body at an alarming rate. This is why Nikoloz’s mother made the urgent decision not to waste any time and take him to Turkey for treatment. The last hope for saving Nikoloz is an expensive chemotherapy course. Each round costs $50,000, and he will need five rounds in total—amounting to $250,000. This treatment is his ticket to life, but his family cannot afford it. If we don’t help Nikoloz complete this lifesaving chemotherapy, it will be as if we are signing his death sentence. Our support can give this boy the chance to emerge victorious from this brutal battle. We cannot stop now. Nikoloz’s family has hope left only in God and the kindness of compassionate people.

“Don’t come close to us, you cross-eyed, we’ll get infected from you. Blind! Freak!” – More than forty years have passed, but Zeinab still remembers these words. She remembers that she could not respond to ridicule when she was a child and she cried, and she got bullied even more because of this. She didn’t tell her parents about it. She just sat down somewhere near her house “crying out” all the tears, calmed down and went home after that. She didn’t want mom and dad to worry.

Older people living alone
“Well, I used to get under fire when shells exploded next to me; my baby daughter died, and my big and healthy son died too … I never thought that I would live so long, that I would have to fix my glasses with a scotch tape … I never thought that I would hardly hear my own daughter. But I can’t complain, I’m 97! It’s quite a lot! Dear, age is just numbers! I have a scout’s heart. And a human gets used to everything.” She went through terrible things in her life: war, bloody mess; she survived her husband’s beating; her two children died… The terrible story of her life has almost been written, but, dear friends, God gives us a chance to write our own ending.

What emotions do you experience when you see this baby with a piece of meat in his hands – the most luxury thing his family has? Sadness? A pity? Pain? Fear? It’s weird, isn’t it? When we asked him “What are you dreaming about?” 5-year-old Lazare took us to the refrigerator and answered: ‘Look! I want us to often have delicious meat!”

“They say a person can endure hunger for 30 days. I starved for seven days – I could not stand it anymore. Then I lost consciousness. What to do, there was no one to ask for bread … I was embarrassed to ask. So, I kept starving… When I felt bad, I left the house, and I don’t remember anything what happened after that…”- tells us a 52-year-old woman – Lela Osepashvili – who was completely exhausted by a long illness and was left without hope because of loneliness. She weighs only 42 kilograms. Lela has breast cancer. She also had a stroke, and her speech has not fully recovered. Besides that, she suffers multiple diseases: inflammation of the gallbladder, rheumatism, vein disease. Due to a decrease in immunity, she often catches colds and suffers from pneumonia.
