Gigi Mikadze (7 years old): I am counting down the days until March 20 – it’s my birthday! I want to celebrate it at a children’s entertainment center, where my friends and I will play and have fun from morning till night! And my sick little brother will be with us too; he loves music and dancing. When he smiles, I am so happy, it’s the best gift for me! But there is a problem. Everyone gets presents on their birthday. It’s so exciting. I dream of getting a hoverboard. It’s an amazing thing; you just stand on it and go! And you don’t have to do anything, just keep your balance. Magic! Oh, if only I had a magic wand! I would fulfill the wishes of all needy children and, of course, conjure a hoverboard for myself!

Instead of building blocks, we use plastic cups to build towers. That’s how we have fun. To be honest, I would love to have a children’s motorcycle. An electric one. I’ve seen kids being given rides on them for money on the street. But I’ve never tried it because I don’t have any money. And I can’t save up for a motorcycle either. Whenever I collect a little bit of money, I immediately give it to my mom so she can buy diapers and bananas for my brother Reziko – he loves them. That’s more important than a motorcycle, I understand that. I don’t tell my parents about my dream because they can’t afford it, and I’m embarrassed to ask. I only told you in secret. Only you can make my wish come true! I will be waiting very, very eagerly! The first thing I would do is give my sister and brother a ride. They are very good, and I love them very much.
