I Want a Dress Like a Princess!

Friends, on February 23, Madonna will turn eight years old! Last year, she was in an accident and had to spend her birthday in the hospital. It was so sad and heartbreaking for her—no cake, no gifts… She cried bitterly.

Madonna: “After the accident, my face was bruised, and I lost several teeth. It hurt so much… there was blood in my mouth, and I was really scared. Thank God we all survived!”

This year, she dreams of inviting her classmates and friends to celebrate with her, to blow out the candles on a beautiful Frozen-themed cake with Princess Elsa.

—Madonna, what would make you happy on your birthday?

Madonna: Auntie, I want a princess dress and pretty shoes. I know I’ll never be able to save up for new clothes and shoes because my mom doesn’t have any money. My dad used to beat my mom, and now he’s in prison for it. She’s alone, raising four children, and I feel so sorry for her… That’s why I try not to ask her for anything.

Let’s make this little girl’s birthday special – don’t you want to see a smile on her face?  Will we really let her go without a gift again this year?
