12-year-old Merab, who has cerebral palsy, dreams of attending a match of the Georgian national football team
Merab (12-year-old): “My biggest dream is to get tickets to a match of the Georgian national team and experience the incredible atmosphere of the stadium. I’ve never been there before! But I don’t know if my dream will ever come true – tickets are too expensive for my family.”
Unfortunately, Merab cannot walk. He can only go outside with his parents’ help, and when he leaves the yard, he needs a wheelchair.
Despite his condition, Merab is passionate about sports. He watches every match of the Georgian national team on TV, knows all the players by name, and would be overjoyed to take a photo with them. He also dreams of having a jersey of his favorite player—Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Another of Merab’s wishes is to have a tablet so he can watch football matches on his own.
