Zaza, just 9 years old, searches for clothes in a dumpster. He tries to go when his classmates won’t see him. His biggest dream? A pair of jeans, sneakers, a sweater, and a light spring jacket. 
Zaza can’t speak clearly—he struggles just to say a few words. But with great effort, he managed to tell our correspondent that clothes, shoes, and a meat dish are the biggest dreams he has. Zaza has never had a single toy. Other kids don’t let him play with theirs either. He would be overjoyed to have a ball or a badminton set. Kind people, only through your compassion can we make sure this child never has to search for his dreams in a garbage bin again.

When we arrived in Gurjaani, it had just rained. But did that stop Zazuka from putting on his brand-new football kit and windbreaker, and running out onto the wet field? Not for a second!
When your dream comes true – who cares about the rain? Zazuna had dreamed for so long about having real, beautiful clothes from a store – so he’d never have to dig through a dumpster again – that he got dressed in a flash: New sneakers, new windbreaker, new pants, and a T-shirt. Then came a muddy, rainy, but oh-so-happy football game with his brand-new ball.
Afterwards, his sister Tatia called him to a real Kakhetian feast! Just look at everything that Zazuka has now – sausages, chicken, ham… So much meat, just as he’d dreamed, and all sorts of other treats.
