This sweet boy was born into a very poor family, and there’s no one else to wish him a happy birthday. But we want to—because in Georgia, we love our children with all our hearts.
Friends, this sweet little Georgian boy, Demetre, is turning 8 on May 15.
But there’s no one to wish him a happy birthday. His father – who would’ve given him the whole world – is gone. His mother is left alone with three children, without money, without even a piece of bread to feed them. It’s heartbreaking.

I’d really love for my brothers to have phones too, but Mom doesn’t have money for that. I feel sorry for her, so I don’t ask for anything.”
