Jacob loved his mother very much, but the terrible cancer did not spare her. Now the boy is an orphan. Mom promised to buy the child a bicycle, but did not have time. He dreamed of it so much! Friends, let’s unite, give Jacob some motherly care, which he lacks so much, and make his wish come true. Five-year-old Jacob: “Mom promised to give me a bicycle. I even saw a picture of it! So cool! But she didn’t have time to fulfill her promise – she died recently! Dad said that we won’t be able to revive Mom. But we can replace tears with a joyful smile with Christian faith, hope and love!”
Little Jacob, who is only five years old, is an orphan. His mother died of cancer. And his father was left alone with four children, not only without money, but without even a piece of bread to feed the family. Such is the grief…
Jacob (5 years old): “Mom promised to give me a bicycle. But she didn’t have time to fulfill her promise. I already know how to ride, I learned it myself, without anyone’s help. But who will buy me a bicycle now?”
Jacob (5 years old): “I have toys, but they are old and broken. I dream of new ones, especially a big tractor and a motorcycle. I have only seen them in pictures, but they look so cool!
I still tell my dreams to my mommy, but now at the grave. Auntie, I know that she hears me. And I also know that mommy flew to heaven to a magical land. And even from there she can fulfill my wishes.
I also need new clothes and shoes for kindergarten. I don’t want to wear the old ones, because all my friends are wearing something new. My dad works a lot, but he still doesn’t have enough money to buy me what I need.”

Jacob’s mother went to heaven two years ago, taken by cancer. But Jacob still received his “package from heaven.” It came, of course, from the friends of the Chernovetskyi Fund. Inside that “package from heaven” was everything the little boy had once asked his mother for: a construction crane, a large garage-truck with parking for small cars, a cheerful backpack, a drawing board, and a bicycle for Jacob. The child gently touches his gifts and believes that his mom is near.
Jacob’s wise and caring older brother, Giga, shared these words with the creators of the package – with you, dear friends:
Many people felt their hearts ache when they learned about us – four orphans. It feels so warm inside and so comforting to know that you exist – kind people! With great love, I thank the friends of the Fund for making my Jacob so happy!
Giga also shared their main problem: the four orphans have no home of their own and live in constant fear of being thrown out onto the street. Their rented apartment has accumulated three months of unpaid rent. Giga – who had to grow up far too early and carry adult responsibilities – delicately asked: Could the friends of the Chernovetskyi Fund help take care of a permanent home for the orphans – so that no one can ever evict us again?
Jacob’s mother cannot come down from heaven to hug them. She cannot pay the rent. But we can! Will we really allow this fragile children’s joy – this gift “from Mom” – to end on the street?
