Friends, let’s make little orphan Nutsa the happiest girl in Georgia!

Nutsa’s father now rests in peace, while his little daughter sleeps on a broken wooden bed. The little girl dreams of a bicycle – but only in her sleep.  Friends of the Fund, could it really be so hard to make the impossible dream of this orphaned child come true?

Nutsa, 8 years old: “I’m not an animal to sleep on a cold floor! I’m a proud Georgian girl. Just look at how I live – is this how Georgian children should sleep?”

Nutsa’s father died after a severe epileptic seizure, leaving his large family without their only breadwinner.  Lord, help them! 

When our reporter came to visit, little Nutsa took her by the hand and first of all showed her room.

Nutsa, 8 years old: “Auntie, look at where I live! But please, don’t get scared! I don’t have a proper bed or a wardrobe for my clothes. I want to sleep like a normal person, not like a cat on the floor, on an old mattress. I really need a new bed, a mattress, a soft pillow, and a blanket.”

Then the little girl told us about her greatest dream – a pink bicycle. Nutsa has never known what it feels like to ride one. She doesn’t have a bike and never had. Every day she sadly watches other children joyfully pedaling down the street. 

Nutsa, 8-year-old: “I keep asking, ‘Mommy, please, I really want a bicycle!’ But she says, ‘No, my dear, we don’t even have enough money for food.’ We eat plain bread and pasta.” 

Nutsa’s old school computer is broken too – so how can she study now? All her classmates have tablets. Nutsa feels like an outcast — no one even lets her play for a few minutes. 

Friends, let’s lend our helping hand to this little girl. Your kindness can become a real miracle for her. It’s so easy to make a child’s dream come true – and the joy you bring to Nutsa, she will remember for the rest of her life.
