“Other girls have everything. I have nothing…” – Tamar, 8 years old

Tamar doesn’t dream of an expensive phone or trendy toys.

She dreams of a bunk bed.

The old bed she sleeps on is broken and could fall apart at any moment. She longs to sleep beside her sister and feel as happy as other children do.

Tamar has no toys. No pretty dresses. No school backpack, notebooks, or pencil case.

When we asked her what she dreams about, her eyes suddenly lit up:

“I like fluffy little monsters.  I would hug them.  And I also need a computer for school.  The old one broke a long time ago…”

Tamar is only eight years old. She still believes that kind-hearted people exist.
