Eleven-year-old Nika suffers from severe epileptic seizures, each one like a small brush with death. Where once his intense convulsions occurred once a month, now they strike every other day. His mother has learned to manage the episodes but lives in constant fear for his life. The family can’t afford medicine or diapers. To leave children without a life-saving pill is to condemn them to torment! Like any other children, Andria, Nika, and Anna deserve to live happily, explore the world, and enjoy a carefree childhood. But they can’t do it without our support. Help is needed urgently – there’s still time to make a difference, but it’s running out!

“Mama, give me a pill! I’m scared! I feel terrible, like I’m about to faint.”
There are rare moments when he feels better, and Nika manages a smile. Just look at that sweet face!
Tea, mother (36): “I had to leave my job because of health problems. I have iron deficiency, high blood pressure, and heart pain. I’m so weak. Can you imagine how it feels when your children are hungry, and you don’t even have the strength to get out of bed to feed them?”
Anna (15-year-old): “We eat stale bread when we have no other food. We go to bed hungry because we don’t have money for food.”
Terrible seizures twist and convulse Tea’s other son, Andria, in excruciating spasms. His innocent eyes beg in silent plea: “Mama, help me!”
He can’t be left unsupervised for even a minute. Once, while alone, he had a seizure, fell, and split his head open, needing five stitches. Now his older sister Anna is always by his side, a second mother to him – she bathes him, dresses him, changes his diapers, and feeds him. Anna also struggles with a speech defect, but her mother can’t afford a speech therapist.
Tea: They’ve stopped Andria’s disability payments because I simply don’t have the money for a doctor’s appointment. I wouldn’t wish our situation on anyone.
– Where is the children’s father?
Tea: We’re divorced. He drank, yelled at me, and hit me in front of the kids, making their already dire state worse. I sold everything we had to help my sons! I have no one left in this life except my children. I beg you, please help save my boys! Don’t abandon us!
Anna: “My poor, sick brothers. They sleep on iron beds with old, torn mattresses. All night they moan in pain. We live in a rented apartment, with no heater, and it’s so cold. I don’t know how we’ll make it through winter. We don’t even have a washing machine, and I feel so sorry for my mother. Every day, she washes everything by hand in cold water.”
The mother surrounds her gravely ill children with love and care, doing all she can, but unfortunately, treating her sons requires not just emotional strength, but substantial financial resources as well. Expensive anti-seizure medications, nourishing food to help the boys grow stronger, rehabilitation sessions—all of this is an insurmountable cost for a single mother.
Like any other children, Andria, Nika, and Anna deserve to live happily, explore the world, and enjoy a carefree childhood. But they can’t do it without our support. Help is needed urgently – there’s still time to make a difference, but it’s running out!
