Our help can work a miracle for these parents, who can’t imagine life without their son. How much suffering the Kavtaradze family has endured! Nikusha’s father is a second category disabled. When he was four years old, an accident deprived him of an eye. Mom has an aneurysm. She often faints and suffers from headaches. Nikusha had an older sister, Liza, but the family lost her when she was just three months old due to a severe case of the flu. There are now four children in the family.

0901200270The Kavtaradze family is facing an unimaginable ordeal, with two seriously ill children: 14-year-old Nikusha, who has cerebral palsy, and 7-year-old Sandro, who is battling cancer. Please support these heartbroken parents, who have sold everything they had! Help them!
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!
For all 14 years of his life, Nikusha has endured constant pain. He can’t hold his head up, walk, sit, or even turn onto his side.
Worst of all, his small body is tormented by severe seizures every day. The medications Nikusha needs to take daily and the special nutritional supplements that will help him gain weight are expensive. Friends, the family has no money left to treat Nikusha, as their youngest son, 7-year-old Sandro, was diagnosed with cancer! No parent should ever have to choose between helping one child or another.
Zalina, Nikusha’s grandmother (58-year-old): “I’m the one taking care of my sick grandson right now because his parents are in the hospital with Sandro, who has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma. The child is fighting cancer, and every penny goes toward saving him. We’ve all had to stop working to care for these sick children. We’re surviving solely on social allowance.”
Nikusha was born with cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus. The poor boy has already undergone four complex surgeries, three of which were cerebral shunting. At five, he was operated on his leg, as one of his legs was shorter than the other.
Despite grim medical predictions, Nikusha’s intellect is intact. Who would have thought that this severely ill boy could answer the question, “What’s your last name?” But he can! Isn’t that proof that there’s always room for miracles in life?
Unfortunately, there is no magic pill that will cure Nikusha. But there is boundless love and determination of his parents. And there are you – kind people who cannot stay away from other people’s grief. Regular rehabilitation courses, massages, and a modern wheelchair would not only ease Nikusha’s life but also slow the progression of his illness.
Zalina: “I’m also battling cancer myself. One of my breasts was amputated. But I don’t care about myself, I just want my grandchildren to be healthy. It’s hard for me to care for Nikusha. I have to lift him, hold him, and provide special care. He needs massages and rehabilitation, but we have no money to take care of him. We can’t even afford diapers for him. We need 50 lari a week just for hygiene products.”
Our help can work a miracle for these parents, who can’t imagine life without their son.

Zalina: “We have absolutely no one to help us. My sister let us stay in this little house. Thank God we don’t have to pay rent. We somehow fit in here. But my sister has a sick daughter, and if she needs this house back, I don’t know where we’ll go. We’ve sold everything to pay for Nikusha’s and Sandro’s treatments, and now we have nowhere to live.”
Friends, let’s help this family! And by helping them, we also help ourselves, because sometimes it’s crucial for each of us to remember that there is always room for a miracle in our lives!
