Shivering from the cold, little Cecili clutches a teddy bear to warm herself. Her only unfulfilled dream – this sunny-haired girl’s single wish – is a red jacket and warm boots.
When I, a reporter for the Chernovetskyi Fund, first saw Cecili’s face – her innocent, childish gaze and red hair – the first thought that came to mind was: “She looks like a child from a movie.” Unfortunately, reality is nothing like the movies. The life of this girl from a poor family is painted in black-and-white tones.
“Cecili, do you know what happiness is?” I ask her.
The little princess thinks for a moment, then opens her eyes wide and answers:
“Playing with my sister and brother.”
Innocent souls… A holy trio, two of whom – Viktor and Cecili – suffer from epilepsy. The little ones have seizures several times a day.
They often play “house” together and dream of new toys, pretty clothes, and drawing albums.
Viktor: “Auntie, I really want to watch cartoons, but our TV is broken. Sometimes when Mom goes to the neighbors’ house, I go too, hoping maybe they have cartoons on. But they’re always watching some TV shows.”
Anastasia: “While my brother and sister are sick, I never ask Mom for anything, because I see that there’s not even enough money for their medicine. But when I go to sleep, I imagine I’m wearing beautiful clothes and new shoes, holding a tablet I’ve be dreaming of. Auntie, I know my dreams won’t come true, because I was born into a poor family.”
– And what do you want to be when you grow up?
Anastasia: A doctor. To help everyone!
The three little angels, saying goodbye, watched the Fund’s reporter with eyes full of hope.

Little Victor was happiest of all when he received a Superman mask and an impressive Hulk glove, which he immediately pulled onto his slender hand. With that glove, he plans to beat epilepsy – the nightly enemy that comes to him in his sleep. After a seizure that begins while he is asleep, the little boy cannot speak and loses his strength, and his mother fears that the illness may one day claim her son forever.
Thank you, dear friends, for the moment when Victor said today: “I am a strong boy!”
It is you who give this strength to the child and his family. 
The broken television is now a thing of the past. From now on, the children will be able to travel through a magical, fairy-tale world. And when they grow up, they will remember with gratitude that the door to this wonderful world was opened for them by the friends of the Chernovetskyi Fund.
The little red-haired sunshine – baby Sesili – is overjoyed with her children’s lotto game, shouting all over the house: “Wow!!! Wow!!!” Of course, she has her own rules: she places bananas on the cards with apples, and pears on the cards with plums. And she is endlessly happy!
Sesili: “Auntie, I have three little children: a monkey, an octopus, and a piglet. They’ve just come to live with me. I will love them all the way Mom loves me, my brother, and Tasuna.”
Anastasia is spinning around with her new tablet, constantly sending you air kisses! And when the tablet finally turned on, she even burst into tears from excitement and joy. Thank you, friends of the Fund, for this carefree day lived at the very height of happiness!
Every day, the Tabatadze family needs strength and support.
For Victor to remain a strong boy and a fighter against illness, he must undergo a full medical examination to determine the cause of his epilepsy. His little sister Sesili has the same problem – seizures.
And Anastasia needs surgery on her tonsils.
