Irma: If possible, I would ask to have our ceiling repaired. I’m tired of this constant fear, always being on edge, afraid something will fall, or someone will get hurt. I also desperately ask for help setting up a bathroom (a shower). It’s already getting quite cold, and I’m still washing the kids in a basin out in the shed. The Nozadze family welcomed your gifts with great enthusiasm and joy! Some of their household problems have been resolved for now. Our special thanks go to everyone who helped! The pressing issues that still need to be addressed are repairing the ceiling and setting up a bathroom. Your help is needed right now!

0901200270The son sold the house to pay for the treatment of his mother with cancer, now the family left on the street without a roof over their heads with two little children. They have nowhere to go and nothing to feed the children!
REPOST RIGHT NOW, GOOD PERSON! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!
Irma, 33 years old (mother): The day goes by without a crumb in our mouths. Neither me with my husband nor my children. We eat stale bread with pepper that grows in the garden. My husband and I grew up in a poor family ourselves, and we know what poverty is. Nevertheless, we do not want our children to experience what we had to experience. My heart bleeds when we see the boys crying from hunger! I beg you – help us feed our sons! We do not even have a refrigerator to store food; the food spoils quickly.
If your children, God forbid, were starving, what would you do? Would you beg? Maybe you would steal? Think about it for a minute. What would it be like to see your little son or daughter crying from hunger?
Irma, 33 years old (mother): This could only be a nightmare. This house is a minefield. One awkward move and it will collapse. The children walk on tiptoe here. Instead of a ceiling, we have old, rotten boards, which is very dangerous. Recently, a stray dog climbed into the attic, and the ceiling fell with a crash right on our heads. The walls are crumbling from dampness. Moreover, when it rains, it pours just like outside. I only have time to put basins under it.
Irma (33 years old mother): We do not have our own home, we were allowed to live here temporarily; there is not enough money to rent an apartment. We have nowhere to go.
– How did it happen that you were homeless?
Irma: My husband’s mother had cancer. He sold the house to pay for her treatment, but unfortunately, she died. My father also died. No one helps us. My husband is a first-group disabled person; he cannot work physically due to his health. When he was 17, he accidentally shot himself in the head with a gun; the bullet went through his chin into the forehead and remained there. He had a craniotomy.
Irma: The husband suffers from terrible headaches. However, despite this, he still goes to work – he helps the neighbors to buy a piece of bread for the children.
Irma, 33 years old (mother): We do not have basic amenities. I bathe the children in a basin. Both in winter and in summer. They often catch colds, and I do not even have money for antipyretics.
Irma: We live on social benefits. Nevertheless, from month to month it is not enough. We have to buy food in the store on credit. When we pay, we are left with nothing again. That is how we live.
Andria: “Mom’s allowance has run out. It is running out very quickly. I am so afraid of going hungry again! I am not afraid for myself, but for little Lazarus. Do you know how much he cries when he is hungry? It is good that he is still little and drinks his mother’s milk. I will endure it; I am a big boy already.”
What the father of the family did for his mother deserves respect. He sold the house without a second thought to cure his unfortunate mother who was ill with cancer. He gave everything he had, but, alas, he could not save her. The fight for survival continues. Now the life of a close-knit young family with two small children is at stake. You and we can save them. After all, they are asking for little. Food to feed the kids and a roof over their heads. The main thing is that the boys are safe and not afraid of ending up under the rubble of a collapsed house. You cannot read and forget this story! We need to act right now!
If you want to visit the family and help them personally, here is the address: Khashuri city, Agara street 62.
Every time you can help someone, just do it and rejoice that God is answering someone’s prayers through you!

Andria (4-year-old): “Yay! We’re going to throw away all the old and broken things! There will be a lot of ‘yays’ now!!!”
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!
Lazare loved the cheerful chaos of gift-giving, and he was glowing like a little sunshine all day
– We’re going to open everything and check it out, right?! 4-year-old Andria was excited about the upcoming gift distribution.
– Exactly! It’s starting! We’re going to open all the boxes—big and small!
–Yay! Yay! And we’re going to make sandwiches too?! I saw a toaster over there, look! And what about tea? We’re making tea, right? There’s an electric kettle here! And laundry? Is there a washing machine hiding here too?
– If you don’t nap during the day, we’ll have a lot more to do together.
– Nap?! No way! Even Lazare, who’s only two, won’t sleep right now! How could I sleep while you’re bringing gifts into the house?! I need to run around every item, hug all the presents, take in their new smell, and cut the tape with scissors!
It’s starting! Gift No. 1 – a toaster!
Andria is eagerly waiting for the new kettle to boil.
Here it is, the first tea from the new kettle!
Irma (mother): Right now, I feel like running around with joy, just like the kids! Need is such a heavy burden, and I’ve felt the full weight of it. Look how dark, damp, and cold it is here. The whole family is coughing. But you from the Chernovetskyi Fund came here and brought us hope. We will throw out these rusty metal frames with the torn-up mesh, and the new beds can come in.
Rusty old beds—out they go!
Andria: We don’t have to sleep on it anymore Mom? We’re throwing it away?
Irma: That’s right, son. You and Lazare are getting amazing new beds today. With joy in my heart and deep gratitude to the friends of the Fund, I’m throwing away the old beds. May every child in Georgia have a cozy, warm bed, nice clothes, and good shoes, and may they have delicious food. Let none of my fellow citizens know the horrors of poverty! I wish a normal, happy, and dignified life at last for my small country and everyone living in it. My deepest respect goes to everyone working towards this! Friends of the Fund are my heroes!
Lazare started a “shootout” with the furniture assembler.
That’s how much fun we had assembling the new beds
Andria: What else are we throwing out today?
– The broken fridge.
Andria: Yay! I love you! (He hugs me with excitement.) I love them too! (He points to the furniture and appliance suppliers.) And I love everyone who sent us all these things! Are we throwing out broken toys too? And the bad clothes?
– Definitely!
Lazare compared the two fridges and picked the big new one for himself
Andria: “Mama! Go ahead and throw away our old clothes. Lazare and I are going to put on these cool new pants”
Andria: I’m going to shout “Hooray” a lot today! You’ve got food hidden too, right? In that car?
– So much food, so many diapers, toys, clothes… And you know what else? Two bikes!
Andria: Oh wow!!! I’m running to the car! Lazare, bikes! Lazare, let’s go!!!
Andria: “Watch me ride so fast, you’ll see sparks flying from the wheels! This bike is just as fast as me! It’s definitely made for me!”
Andria: “Look at me, look how cool I am! I’m keeping my balance and not falling!”
Irma: Andria won’t sleep tonight either, I feel that. He didn’t sleep one night because he was waiting for the gifts, and now he’s seen everything, and he’s just overflowing with emotions! Andria and Lazare are beyond happy—there’s no limit to their joy! Andria keeps hugging me, then his dad, then you, then the store employee, even the dog Miki! Oh, what’s going on with him! (Laughs.) And Lazare is keeping up too! He’s already climbed on the bed, run around the washing machine, got yogurt all over himself… He’s trying out all the fun at once! (Laughs.)
He built a tower out of yogurt cups, then knocked it over, and then, happily, ate a couple of them.
Irma: Without you, without the friends of the Fund, there would be no joy at all! I want to wish you all success, health, personal happiness, and prosperity. And to say “thank you” so many times— endlessly! This help is a ray of light for us, a breath of fresh air. I didn’t know how or where I would get the things my children needed. You know my husband can’t work because of a serious health problem.
The kids are playing tag around the new washing machine
Meanwhile, a sandwich is toasting in the toaster.
“What deliciousness! – says Andria. –I’m going to ask Mama to make these all the time now”
Beso (the father of the children): I bless you for everything you’ve done for my family. I’m very grateful for every single thing you brought, for caring about my children and my wife. I will never forget it.
Irma: My husband wrote to the city hall several times about this house, asking for help to fix it up. But we never got a response. We stopped knocking on closed doors.
– I can’t stop looking at your ceiling—it’s awful! First, you can see the sky through it, and second, it’s completely rotten and unsafe.
Irma: We spend most of our time with the kids in this room. At least our eyes don’t hurt here, like in the other two small rooms where there’s no light. But we get sick more often here, shivering from the cold. Rain, dust, wind—we endure it all because there’s no proper roof. Even stray dogs sometimes get in.
There’s no ceiling above us! And the remains of the rotten roof could collapse any minute! Help is needed right now!
