– 5-year-old Anano asks her mother plaintively and pulls her by the hem. “I am hungry too! Mommy, do we have any bread?” – echoes her younger brother Shotiko (3-year-old). “Wait a little, honey, maybe the neighbor will bring us something,” – mother Gvantsa (29 years old) replies affectionately and strokes her kids’ hair. “The fridge is empty, I can’t calm them. I’ll have to ask the neighbors again,” the young woman explains us sadly, as if justifying herself. I turned away to hide my tears and confusion.
“Lord, I will endure any torment, just not to see my children starving!” – the poor young woman cries bitterly. “We used somehow to make ends meet, but now we cannot find any work, and the transport does not work … Sometimes the day goes by so that the children have only tea without sugar and bread!”

This is Saba, a 5-year-old boy with cerebral palsy. He struggles to walk and crawls on his knees. Despite everything, he’s a very smart and emotional child. But fate wasn’t satisfied with just one cruel illness for this poor boy. Saba also has an open heart valve and strabismus. Kind-hearted people, now every hour counts. The child urgently needs massage therapy because his muscles are weakening by the day, and soon, once he falls to his knees, he might never be able to get up again. This means that Saba could be confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. And he’s such a bright, clever boy… He will suffer, bedridden. Please, let’s not abandon this poor boy, left by his father. Any donation you can make, no matter how small, will make a big difference. Saba knows that a kind stranger will share his story with good-hearted people. This clever boy is full of hope.  Let’s not disappoint him. He’s already been let down once, and the wound from that heartbreak hasn’t healed yet.

Freezing orphans spotted a pile of damp firewood and hurried to carry it home to light their stove. While their father was alive, he would bring firewood every morning to warm the house before the children left for school. After his death, everything in the Gulishvili family changed. Their happy childhood vanished in an instant, and these little angels were thrown into the harsh reality of survival. Kind people, you’ve surely seen for yourselves that these noble children will one day keep their promise and stand by those in need. But for now, these little angels need our help. The children live in a crumbling home and dream of having a gas heater.  They sleep on broken beds that might collapse if they try to turn over. Their shoes are soaked through, and instead of a warm dinner, they drink tea with steal bread. They can’t even escape the freezing winter winds because broken windows and an old wooden door let the cold air rush in. It’s as if the whole world has turned against these orphans. Who knows, perhaps their father is looking down in sorrow, unable to rest in peace knowing his children are in such misery. But we cannot let this continue! These little angels, left without a father, have only one hope—you, kind-hearted people!
