Seven-year-old Gabriel ran out to meet the fund’s correspondent barefoot. He was so happy to see me that he hugged and kissed me tightly. What a kind and hospitable boy!

Gabriel (7 years old): “I am sitting at home because I have no clothes or shoes, everything is worn out. What should I wear to school, auntie? I need new shoes, trousers, T-shirts and shirts. I don’t want my classmates to laugh at me.”

Why do other kids have toys and clothes and I don’t? Am I a bad boy?”

Gabriel: “I don’t have a computer or a phone. And I don’t have the Internet either. This is my biggest dream. When I grow up, I will become a programmer. And I will have a big salary. I want my family to have everything needed.”
