How much does a child’s dream cost? Dear Lord, he’s not asking for much. He just wants to go back to the place where he was once happy.

In the village of Sasireti, in an old house whose roof no longer keeps out the rain, live three children: Nika, Lekso, and little Mariam. When it rains, it sounds as if the house itself is quietly crying. Water runs down the walls, drips onto the children’s pillows… and the winter cold seeps in even deeper.

And yet, these children still have dreams.

Lekso is five. He dreams of a bicycle and a skateboard.

Nika is the eldest – he’s twelve. He was born a little different, and that difference makes his gaze especially gentle. When it rains at night, he hugs his younger siblings so they won’t be afraid. He’s shy about talking about what he wants. He looks down, hesitates for a long time… and then whispers: “I want an electric scooter.”

Not to play. Not to show off. But to go back to wrestling practice – just like before. The gym is too far to walk. He used to go there every day, rain or cold, on foot. But now he can’t – his little legs freeze, his shoes are soaked, and their home stays damp and cold. He’s afraid his dream is too big for their small, cold house – where sometimes even dinner is cold.

But sometimes, making a simple wish come true is a real miracle. Let’s help make that miracle happen. Let his small steps turn into a journey – and a dream that once seemed too big become real.
