“Mommy, will Anna ever be able to run and play with us?”

Every evening, the three children in the Khurtsidze family ask the same question

They do not dream of expensive phones. They do not ask for fashionable clothes. They are not jealous of other children.

Tamari, Elene, and Shotiko have only one greatest wish – for their four-year-old sister Anna to get well.

But for now, illness has confined the little girl to her bed.

And yet these kind-hearted children have a few small dreams of their own.

Seven-year-old Tamari dreams of simple school supplies. A pencil case, notebooks, pencils, markers, paints… For most children, these are ordinary things. But for a family where every penny goes toward Anna’s treatment, they are almost an unattainable luxury.

Nine-year-old Elene loves drawing. She dreams of good sketchbooks, paints, and colored pencils. But her biggest dream is not for herself.

Elene, 9-year-old:  “I want a tablet for Anna…”

Whenever her little sister listens to music or watches cartoons, her face lights up with a smile. Elene dreams of seeing that smile more often.

Six-year-old Shotiko loves singing.

He dreams of taking singing lessons.

But there is no money for classes.

So the little boy puts on concerts at home and sings his songs only for his beloved sister.

Friends, don’t these children’s dreams deserve to come true?

For us, giving a child a pencil case, a set of paints, the chance to pursue a favorite hobby, or simply seeing a sick little girl smile may seem like a small thing.

But for these children, it would be a true miracle.
