There is no greater sorrow for a mother than a suffering child! Lazare was born with a congenital spinal anomaly, scoliosis, and the absence of three ribs

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

Here is the condition of the spine of the unfortunate boy. If he is not operated on urgently, it will be too late

Nunu, Lazare’s mother, is only 26 years old and she has already experienced horrifying tragedies. She witnessed the untimely passing of both her parents: her father succumbed to a stroke, and her mother was consumed by incessant worries and sadness.

Fate did not stop there. Cunning and merciless, it decided to test her strength once again. Just two years ago, in the prime of life, her husband passed away. A man whom she loved and adored more than life itself.  All hopes for a happy future suddenly vanished.

Now Nunu stands on the edge of the abyss, with her only support – her sick son.  She cries, but she does not give up. She fights because she knows that her son needs her strength and support.

– Nunu, tell us about the sufferings that your son Lazare experiences.

Nunu: Lazare was born with a congenital spinal anomaly, scoliosis, and the absence of three ribs.  His spine develops incorrectly, and he suffers from numerous physical and emotional challenges.  His left leg is shorter than the right by 3 cm, and his sensitivity is greatly diminished.  He experiences constant pain and limitations in movement. Every day is a struggle for him. He is a very active and cheerful boy, and when he sees tears on my face, he tells me, “Mom, don’t cry, we’ll make it through.”

“Mom, don’t cry, I’m here with you!”

– What dreams and hopes does Lazare have?

Nunu: Lazare is a brave boy with big dreams. He wants to become a doctor to help other children who experience pain and suffering. He dreams of a childhood filled with games and care, of running and jumping with friends. And his biggest dream is a bicycle. He knows that he won’t be able to ride it now, but he reassures himself, saying, “It’s okay, Lazare, after the surgery, you’ll be able to ride it. God will help.”

“Sometimes it hurts so much to breathe that I can’t hold back the tears”

– What role does faith play in your life?

Nunu: Faith is our family’s treasure. We believe that God has given us this path to overcome trials. When everything seems hopeless, prayer and faith give us strength and hope. We know that God will never leave us.  I learned this in my childhood, and I am teaching my son. When I lost both my parents one after another, faith in God helped me survive that tragedy. When my husband passed away three years ago, I didn’t think I could go on living.

“I am a strong and brave boy, and God will help me!”

– What are your biggest fears regarding Lazare’s future?

Nunu: My biggest fear is leaving Lazare alone in this difficult struggle. Having experienced the sorrow of orphanhood, I don’t want my only son to become an orphan as well. That’s why, after my husband’s death, I gathered my strength and made a promise to God that I would be strong and live only for my son. My fear is not being able to gather the necessary funds. I don’t want him to feel deprived or abandoned. I live for him, and my goal is to provide him with a future full of joy and happiness.

– How do you cope with the difficulties and emotional challenges every day?

Nunu: Every day is a new battle, and I cope with the difficulties thanks to my love for Lazare. I know that I need to be strong for him so that he feels protected and loved.  You know how cruel this world can be; he has been the target of mockery because of his physical shortcomings. Every day I need to repeat to him that he is strong, that he can put anyone in his place.

“I won’t be so crooked after the surgery, I’ll become a healthy boy!”

– What do you live on?

Nunu: Financial difficulties are truly a tremendous ordeal.  My salary and allowance are not enough to meet Lazare’ basic needs. We take advantage of all the free programs provided by the government – massages, psychological support, doctor consultations… But our greatest goal is having the surgery in Turkey. Such a surgery is not performed in Georgia. Lazare needs a platinum construct inserted into his spine for proper development.  Every little help brings us closer to our goal, and I believe that God will send me help at the right moment.  Out of the total cost of the surgery, I have already raised $27,000, but I still need another $8,700.

“Mama says that we need a lot more money so that nothing hurts me anymore.  She said that God will help, and people will help too!

– Why do you believe that God chose your son Lazare for this trial?

Nunu: I believe that God chose Lazare for this trial because He knows that I have love and strength in my heart to overcome it.  God sees how I fight for my son and strive to give him a better life. He gave me Lazare so that I could learn to be strong, loving, and never give up.

“I can’t always find a position where my bones don’t hurt”

– What dreams do you have for Lazare once he undergoes the surgery and recovers?

Nunu: My main dream is to see Lazare happy and free from pain. I want him to be able to run, play, and learn how to ride a bicycle. I dream that he becomes a doctor to help other children experiencing pain and suffering.  I want him to have a bright future and fulfill all his dreams.”

“After the surgery, I will work out a lot and become the strongest, and no one will be able to hurt me anymore”

– You mentioned teasing from peers, what other difficulties and pains does Lazare experience every day because of his condition?

Nunu: Lazare faces continuous pain and discomfort due to his scoliosis and spinal problems. Every day, he wears a brace to support his spine. His spine is developing incorrectly, which leads to more problems such as uneven weight distribution on his legs and decreased sensitivity. I tell him that God is always with us and that we can rely on His mercy and care. Faith and hope give us the confidence that we have a future full of opportunities and happiness. I teach Lazare that even in the darkest times, we must hold on to hope and believe that everything will improve.

“When I take off this annoying brace, I will learn how to ride a bicycle”

– What dreams does Lazare envision for himself after the surgery and recovery?

Nunu: Lazare dreams of being healthy and free from pain. He wants to play with other children, run, ride a bicycle, and participate in sports activities. He dreams of going to school and being an excellent student.

– What support do you hope to receive from people to help Lazare undergo the surgery and recover?

Nunu: I hope for the support of people who share our story and our struggles. We need financial assistance to cover the cost of the surgery and treatment in Turkey.  I also hope for emotional support, kind words, and prayers.

«Nunu is ready to move mountains for her son!»

– What words would you like to say to all those who can help you in this situation?

Nunu: I want to express a heartfelt thank you to everyone who can help us in this situation. Your kind hearts and donations will make our dream of a healthy future for Lazare a reality.

Friends, let us remember the story of Lazarus, whom Christ raised from the dead. He gave us an example of the strength of faith and the ability to overcome the impossible. Today, we are faced with the challenge of saving another Lazarus – a 6-year-old boy.  We can become rays of mercy and hope for this child and his mother. We can bring them from the darkness of pain and suffering into the light of health and happiness. We believe in the power of united goodness, and our support can change their lives. We can become the answer to their prayers and hopes.

We believe that Lazare deserves a healthy and happy life, and we can help him fulfill this dream. Let our strength and faith overcome any obstacles, and may Lazarus rise again to joy and hope.

If you are willing to visit this family and help them in person, here is their address: Batumi, 44 Katamadze Str, Apartment 32.

Even if you dial once this special number  0901200270  it might save someone’s life! God bless you!

You’ve given my son a normal life!  I’m so thrilled that I can’t find the words, I just bow my head to you in gratitude!

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

Nunu: “You’ve given me a miracle – my son’s healing!”

Our Lazare started first grade!  He went to school with a straight back and good posture, very content and smiling. To make this happen, more than two thousand of our benefactors joined their efforts. They covered the cost of the expensive surgery.  For Lazare, a straight spine was not something ordinary. He was born with a spinal anomaly, missing three ribs, limping heavily while walking, and suffering from pain.

Behold, people, what a marvel you have wrought before God! Will He truly forget such acts of benevolence? I bow my head in reverence to you.

Before the surgery, Lazare’s spine was like a zigzag!

Due to the curvature of his spine, Lazare had a terrible limp and was in a lot of pain

When Lazare was brought out of the operating room, I was left speechless with joy and amazement, – says his mother Nunu. – He clearly grew taller.  What a transformation! At this point I realized what a significant step toward recovery you’ve helped us achieve!”

– Lazare, were you scared to go for the surgery?

Lazare (6-year-old): I was scared. They didn’t allow my mom to go where they brought me for the operation.

Nunu (Mother): I was standing in the corridor and constantly looking at the door to catch it when the light above it would turn on. It would mean that the operation was over. I watched for six and a half hours.  It was a long and complicated operation. Lazare was operated on in Mersin, Turkey.

– What do you remember from the Turkish clinic, Lazare?

Lazare: The doctor, the uncle who initially scared me (his name is Mustafa), later gave me a cake with Sonic on it for being good!

– Who is Sonic?

Lazare: Sonic is a hedgehog-alien from a cartoon. I asked my mom for a cake like that, and the doctor found out that’s what I wanted.

– Do you like school?

Lazare: I like chess. I also like that I always go first holding the teacher’s hand.

Nunu: At school, they are aware of Lazare’s condition, and his teacher personally carries his school bag every day. Another educator is assigned specifically to Lazare in case he needs assistance with mobility.

A gift from the Fund – a variety of school supplies.

Lazare also received the cool off-road vehicle for being such a brave boy! These gifts carry special meaning as he courageously overcame all the challenges!

– Have you made new friends, Lazare?

Lazare: I found a friend, Keti.

– Is she a nice and pretty girl?

Lazare: She’s calm and doesn’t push me. You see, I have a brace on. I can’t jump or run too fast. I don’t want a spoiled friend.

Nunu (laughs): Oh, he takes good care of himself after the surgery. He knows he needs to be careful. In general, my boy is prudent.  He still needs to wear the brace for another 6 months. And he should also avoid sudden movements and excessive activity. The rest is going well – there are already noticeable improvements: his body no longer tilts during walking as it used to, he can stand for longer periods, and he experiences no pain during play or other activities.

Nunu: “Thanks to all of you, Lazare now can live a normal and full life!”

– What was done during this major operation?

Nunu: His spine was reinforced with screws, and now it can be gradually straightened. This was the main operation. Lazare has further corrective surgeries ahead.  The next operation will likely be in the winter, as decided by the doctor. It’s not as complex; it will only take half an hour or an hour.

In February, we are planning to go to the Turkish clinic again, and the doctor will tell us how much the spine has straightened.  It’s too early for a tomography right now.

Lazare is showing how straight his back is. He’s a winner, just like his idol Kvaratskhelia.

If he hadn’t had the operation, the consequences of scoliosis would have become more severe with each passing day, affecting his heart, lungs, and all his internal organs. Due to his curved spine, his left leg was 3 cm shorter and raised above the other. The doctor also addressed this issue during the operation. Compare Lazare’s legs: the difference is no longer noticeable; his left leg has stretched a bit. One more thing I’ve noticed is that Lazare has developed a hearty appetite after the surgery. Perhaps his stomach is now more at ease and no longer compressed.

– He even has a little tummy now.

Nunu:  I need to restrict his food a bit.

– Nunu, what does the support and help from our readers mean to you?

Nunu: Tomorrow, I will turn 27 years old. I can honestly say that in my entire life, I have never encountered such enormous and selfless help. I have never seen such genuine concern for me, care, and attention.  You have given me a miracle – the healing of my child.  I’m still in euphoria and shock that everything worked out.  The complete strangers raised the missing $9,000 for the operation.

I’ve kept a screenshot of the first transfer on the Fund’s website as a memento. It was 1 lari, but it was worth a million to me. Our new life started from that one lari, just like that!  A life where I no longer fear what bitter future awaits my son. I believe that, thanks to you, Lazare can have a normal and fulfilling life.

I’m still overwhelmed with emotions, unable to find suitable words of gratitude for you! May your families be healthy and happy! May everything go well for you in the future, and may the Lord assist you in your endeavors.

I bow my head before you and before the Turkish doctor who operated on Lazare. My son is still young and doesn’t fully comprehend it yet. But I’ve told him that thousands of unknown heroes have cared for him. I call you that: the unknown heroes of my Lazare.

– Did the local authorities and the state help you with fundraising for the operation?

Nunu: The district council, the mayor’s office, and the Ministry of Health all offered some help, but we still had to raise an incredibly large amount – $9,000. I had exhausted all sources and possibilities to help my son, and when I was almost in despair, I found you. It’s a miracle!

 – What kind of help do you need now, Nunu?

Nunu: – Lazare doesn’t need to take any medications, and he’s free from examinations until February. But in winter, we have to go for a check-up with the doctor again, and most likely Lazare will need corrective surgery. I will seek financing from the government this time because the amount is not very large. But we can’t do it without you. I’m asking for your help to get to the clinic and deal with the hotel expenses while Lazare undergoes the examination. I’m afraid I won’t be able to manage the costs on my own. I need someone to rely on to ensure that everything goes smoothly, and I don’t know anyone better and more reliable than all of you.

Friends, there is already a remarkable result after the surgery: Lazare started walking correctly, without severe limping, and his posture looks different.  For the complete straightening of his spine, he will need further corrections. They only need a little from us – to cover the trip and hotel stay in Mersin, so that everything continues to go well for our Lazare.
