These poor children thank God every day for saving them from their mother, who beat and starved them! What a nightmare! Mariam, Nikoloz, and Tengo deprived of almost everything lived in a house, surrounded by filth and chaos. Their father was in prison at the time, falsely accused by their own abusive mother of domestic violence, unaware of what was happening.  You will be horrified by what these children revealed to the foundation’s reporter. Marika (11-year-old): “How can you call that woman a mother? I don’t think of her as one!    She treated me and my little brothers so horribly. She beat us! She never cooked for us; we lived on bread and tea every day. We were always hungry! There was food in the fridge, but we weren’t allowed to touch it. At night, she’d leave us alone and go to the neighbors. I don’t even know what she was doing there!”

This is three-year-old Saba. Take a close look at the child’s T-shirt. Even at a landfill, you’d find a T-shirt in better condition than this one. But the most alarming thing is that Saba has a high fever. Sadly, his single mother can’t buy medicine at the pharmacy because of her dire financial situation. Look at him—he’s drinking hot water without sugar or jam. And no, you’re not mistaken—there’s only hot water in that cup. In his other hand, this little angel holds a dry piece of bread. There isn’t even a slice of cheese in the house. The Khubashvili family has five young children. You’ll hardly ever see smiles on their faces. Oh God, oh God! This is so heartbreaking! Kind people! These little angels have been left at the mercy of fate. The most heartbreaking thing is that with each passing day, they are losing faith. We cannot let this happen! Kind people let’s not abandon these children—already abandoned by their father. A long winter with dark, cold days lies ahead. But kindness, care, and love can brighten even the gloomiest days for these little ones.

The life of a young woman, Inga, and her three small sons has turned into a struggle for survival. Six months ago, the family lost their sole breadwinner. An instant death from a blood clot took away the children’s beloved father. He was the cemetery caretaker. Although the family lived modestly, the children lacked for nothing. Inga, the mother (39 years old): “It’s very hard for me to cope alone; it’s unbearable. But now I have to be both a mother and a father to my children. There is no other way. When my husband was by my side, I felt strong. Together, we easily handled any problems. It’s very hard for us to be without him. He was a wonderful father and husband. How sad that Maho – a kind-hearted man – left this world so early. May God take him into paradise.” Now, month to month, the family lives on social allowance and the pension for their asthmatic child. This barely covers food and medications. Giorgi needs expensive medications every month.

One fateful day, the peaceful village of Babi in the Kharagauli municipality was engulfed by the terrifying roar of fire. The house where eight children lived was completely consumed by flames. Thank God, all the children made it out unharmed, but imagine how painful it must be to see your beloved home, your cherished belongings, books, and toys burned to ashes. The family lived in poverty and didn’t own a single valuable item, but our love for things doesn’t come from their price. Sometimes expensive things mean nothing to us. Sometimes a cheap item is far more precious. Friends of the Fund, winter is coming soon to the mountain village, and these little angels will have to bathe outside in the freezing cold. Then, after catching colds, they’ll lie down on sheets spread out on the floor, because they don’t have beds. Cold wind will blow in through the broken window onto the sick children. There’s no pharmacy in the village. Somehow, these children survived last winter. But they won’t make it through another… 

Become a good wizard – help the children. Each of these little ones is waiting for help and hoping for a miracle. Together, we can bring joy to these angels and create a comfortable living environment for them! First and foremost, the children need clothes and shoes, they need to be prepared for kindergarten and school, and the family needs beds, mattresses, a wardrobe for their clothes, and help to repair the ceiling. These well-mannered, smart, and humble kids will never forget the kindness you show them!  By helping others, you draw closer to God!  

Look at this wooden hut. Even cattle would be spared and would not be allowed to spend the night here. However, unfortunately, it is not cattle that live here, but these five angelic children. At the slightest breath of wind, the house rocks like a cradle. Before going to bed, the children ask God for the morning to come for them. At this age, children think about toys. In the Khachiperadze family, the only concern of the children is to save their own lives. These brick walls were built with the help of the local government for the Khachiperadze family (Baghdad Municipality, Obcha village). However, there are only walls here. No floor, no windows. The children’s mother, Inga Samadalashvili, who is raising five children all by herself, is embarrassed to ask kind people for help, although she has a great desire to do so. Before leaving, the five little angels, with tears in their eyes, addressed the Fund’s correspondent – “Auntie, Mom has no money to finish building this house. If kind people help us, to make at least just the ceiling and the floor, we promise that when we grow up and work, we will repay these people with kindness.”
