Five-year-old Lizzy clutched a piece of stale bread with a death grip. This poses a significant risk to Dima’s weakened immune system.
“When I received my son’s diagnosis, it felt as if the ground had been ripped from beneath me. It was like being drenched in icy water! I felt so physically unwell that the doctors had to help me regain my composure. Spinal muscular atrophy type 1 – I was already aware of it… it was the most devastating news for my dear Dima.”

Just yesterday, I was a perfectly happy and healthy woman, with my beloved husband and child.
I love all of you too! I have only a little time left, but I’m so afraid to spend my last days on the street like a homeless dog. God will reward you for your kindness, my dear compatriots!

If we don’t help, Tsitsi will slowly die, and her little brother Nikoloz will never see light! Those eyes will never see the light of day.
