Dear friends, for
more than already 4 years Cernoveckiy Charitable Fund “finds its primary
purpose in rendering vitally necessary assistance to people who need it most of
all: lonely severely ill old people and children deprived of parental care.

In Tbilisi and
Kobuleti we opened 3 family-type orphanages with 30 children from disadvantaged
families. Not so long ago these children were left to their fate: they did not
go to school, walked barefoot and ate only casually from time to time. Dry
bread was their only food, and beans were real dainties for them. More than
once due to constant hunger they looked into garbage cans and ate some
leftovers. Among them were such children who have never tasted ice-cream or
sweets in their life!

These poor children
have never eaten at the table; some of them did not even know how to hold a
fork and a spoon… But exactly they are the future of Georgia! It is hard to
describe the whole horror which these poor kids had to go through!

And for 30 such
children our Fund created all conditions for normal comfortable life: warm and
cozy homes, new clothes, high-quality education and much more.

We
provide our foster children with 4 meals a day, which had been unfamiliar to
them during their whole life. We try to do our best to make them forget about
the horror of starving, so that they would never recall it again!

Our Fund urges
