In 2017, 64-year-old Tiniko had a cancerous tumor removed from her bladder, but no money was left for follow-up checkups or tests for the poor woman! Instead, they gave her construction materials so she wouldn’t die early under the ruins of her house—a house worse and more terrifying than anything we’ve seen in all our years of work! Oh, and they gave her 50 lari a month to live on! Just look at this crooked shack, standing on rotten beams. Now imagine, for a second, this elderly woman being tasked with rebuilding her house. Such care, right? Oh Lord, Lord, don’t judge harshly those who do not know you! Read this post to the end, and feel this tragedy with your heart, kind people!

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!

The roof is destroyed, the walls are covered in mold, the floors have caved in, and through the huge gaps, you can see the ground and stones

Tiniko (64 years old): “The state provided materials for the house – blocks, cement – but I had to sell it all to pay for chemotherapy sessions. Where else could I get the money? My social allowance is just 50 lari. You heard right—50 lari! How can you survive on that? The doctor said I absolutely must come for a checkup. But how am I supposed to do that without money?”

In bad weather, during rain and wind, the unfortunate Tiniko sits by the door with a packed bag, waiting in terror for the moment her house collapses, forcing her to flee

“There isn’t a house in all of Georgia as dangerous as this one,” Tiniko cries.

Tiniko: “My neighbor, bless his heart, covered the roof with tarpaulin three times. But all three times, the wind blew it away. In bad weather, I stay with friends. But I can’t sleep a wink. I lie there, waiting every minute to hear the crash—the sound of my house falling apart.”

“Inside my house, it rains just as much as outside. I barely have time to place buckets”

Family photo: young Tiniko and her mother. God’s ways are mysterious, and whoever forgets this old wisdom will surely experience it for themselves!

Tiniko: They say every person has a mission on this earth. But sometimes I feel like I was born just to suffer. It would have been better if I hadn’t been born at all. I dedicated my whole life to my parents. I spent my youth caring for my sick father and mother, who were bedridden. And when they died, I was left completely alone, with nothing. No family of my own, no children, no home, no land.

– Do you regret not getting married?

Tiniko: Probably, I regret many things now. But what’s the point?

– What advice would you give to the young?

Tiniko: No one should be alone. Don’t tempt fate; if you love each other, build a family and live in harmony. No one knows how hard it is to be alone. When you’re nearing death, and there’s no one to hand you a glass of water. There’s nothing worse than that, in my opinion.

Tiniko: Help me fix up at least two rooms. That’s all I ask. I don’t even have a bathroom or a toilet. I have to use the neighbor’s toilet, and it’s so humiliating! How much longer do I have to endure this humiliation? How many nerves have I frayed, how much have I suffered? I’ve aged early—I’m 64, but I look like an 80-year-old woman. I don’t know how much longer I can last. And if I can’t, you’ll probably be told that I’ve passed away. But I need help now, while I’m still alive. I’ll be forever grateful, and may God reward you with the same kindness.”

“Daughter, I don’t have a single tetri right now, not even enough for bread. Is it life?” – grandma Tiniko asked me with tears in her eyes. I wonder, friends, how is this even possible in Georgia? A country where the elderly are held in such high regard. We believe that among you, there are kind, compassionate people who will surely help this unfortunate, lonely woman! She has no one else in this world but us!

We, at the Fund, wholeheartedly believe that every donation, no matter the amount, holds immense significance, especially for the giver! It can and should change their life for the better! Be happy!

If you are willing to visit Tiniko and help her in person, here is her address: Zugdidi, 19 Bigvava Str.

Every time you can help someone, just do it, and rejoice that God answers someone’s prayers through you!
