The husband, who swore before God and a priest to care for, protect, and love the orphan, shamefully abandoned her upon the birth of their third child! Why did he lie to God?! Can men behave this way?! He couldn’t withstand the trials of poverty… But poverty is not a vice! But betrayal is…! Let our readers themselves judge how to assess such actions!

Hunger, cold, diseases, and unbearable suffering!

Thank you, Lord, for allowing us and the friends of our Fund to express our faith in You! Because there is nothing more important in life than feeling like a true person of God!

The baby is seriously ill, and he won’t stop crying. He needs a medical examination, but it requires money!

Meet Diana, a distressed yet very loving mother of three, with sick and always hungry children!

Diana’s mother left her in the maternity hospital. ‘Well, at least she didn’t throw me into the river like an unwanted kitten,’ says Diana, crying bitterly. ‘Maybe it would have been for the best, and my suffering would have ended!’ But she herself, like a lioness, fights for her children every day!

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

Diana’s husband, who, on his knees and in the presence of a priest, vowed to stand by her “for better, for worse,” abandoned the family when their third child was born!  What a coward—did he run away from the challenges of poverty?  Friends, poverty is not a vice, but betrayal is the worst of them… Let Diana know that in Georgia, such men are the exception!  Let’s help the unfortunate woman and her three sick children!

The baby is cold, the baby is hungry… he cries incessantly… Even mom can’t calm him down…

And then the baby, exhausted, falls asleep.  But it’s the sleep of a sick child, and if he is not examined soon, one day he simply won’t wake up!

– You have three little sons. How do you manage to cope alone, without husband?

Diana: When kids in the neighborhood and at school bullied me, an orphan, I made a solemn vow to God – I would rather die than ever abandon my own children! Handling them is really tough for me; I can’t even leave them alone for a minute. Just to examine at least the youngest one! And not let the children go hungry!

“4-year-old Vasilii has mental health issues. He can hit or bite little Slavik.”

‘We don’t even have proper beds; we all share an old mattress on the floor.”

No one knows how the life of the little Diana, devoted by everyone, would have turned out if it were not for one very, very kind woman, Maria, who adopted her. She’s a saint to Diana! At the Fund, we are delighted to have discovered yet another saint in Georgia! And we even know her name! It’s not in vain that it resembles the name of the Mother of God. Friends, what do you think about people like Maria?

Diana: “I’ve always felt unwanted, like an extra person, an outcast… Nobody loved me. Even Maria’s grown-up children didn’t love me. They said mean things. But Maria would hug me, and I’d forget everything. I shed so many tears – only God knows. That’s when I vowed never to abandon my children, no matter how tough it gets for me.”

– Why did he leave you? What happened?

Diana:  I don’t even know if he left me or just disappeared. About a year ago, he mentioned going for work, and I haven’t heard from him since. He doesn’t have parents for me to check with, and he might be in touch with someone else.  I’m torn between being angry and mourning him. I don’t know if something happened to him or if he’s deliberately avoiding me.  It’s a dilemma whether to light a candle for his well-being or for his repose.

– Oh my God! What a terrible situation!

Diana: So here I am, at home with the kids, with nowhere to go. The only time I step out is to the social canteen for food, and even then, I have the kids with me. I don’t have a single soul, no one to support me. Recently, I fell ill; my temperature soared, and when I called an ambulance, they told me I urgently needed to go to the hospital. I said I couldn’t because there’s no one to leave the kids with. And you know what the doctor told me? He said if I didn’t go, the children would be left as orphans. So they took me to the hospital with the kids.

“Apart from me, there’s no one for the children, not a single close or dear soul… When I was taken to the hospital, the kids were with me in the ward because there was no one else to take care of them”

– Your living conditions are just unbearable!

Diana: This apartment belonged to the late Maria, and she left it to me. She was genuinely worried that I might end up on the streets after her passing, so this was her gift to me. However, nothing is intact here; everything is broken and in shambles. Even the walls are in terrible condition. I’m struggling to gather any money to repaint the walls or buy beds for the children. So, for now, we’re sleeping on the floor on mattresses.

This child of angelic beauty can become aggressive in a second and hurt his mother or brother

– What do you eat? Is the allowance enough for food?

Diana: As for meals, I bring food from the canteen. The kids aren’t fond of it, but when hunger strikes, there’s no room for preferences. They get really excited when there are sausages and buns.

– And what about Slavik? What does he eat? He’s only one year old…

Diana: He’s already accustomed to eating adult food.  I mash lobio for him, dilute it with water, and feed him like that.  Sometimes, I soak bread in water, and it turns into a makeshift porridge.  What else can I do?

“Several times a day, the children open the cupboard, hoping to find something other than stale bread.”

– Diana, what can we do for you?

Diana: If you can help with beds and improve my living conditions, I’ll be grateful! If you provide diapers, food, and medicines for my little boy… That’s all I need.  I don’t think anyone will take my story to heart. I wasn’t needed by my own mother. I was abandoned when I was very little. And now, who could possibly need me?

Friends, at this moment, Diana and her three sons are facing challenges that seem unbearable. She has encountered difficulties that many of us never even think about. But today, we can change her reality by sharing the warmth of our hearts.

In the Bible, it is said: “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord…Whoever oppresses a poor man insults his Maker”. Friends, let’s become the reason for a better life for Diana and her sons. At this moment in their lives, they need our support, our kindness, and our willingness to bring light to the dark corners of their future.

If you are willing to visit the family and help them in person, here is their address: Rustavi, 14a David Gareji Str, apartment 18.

Every time you can help someone, just do it, and rejoice that God answers someone’s prayers through you!

We are sure that all together we will manage to save this family from imminent death.

Please don’t forget to repost our story. Let your friends know about the grief of this family! It’s extremely important!

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!

“Thank you for saving us from troubles! I now call you the employees of the foundation and its friends, my close people!”

“We had many plans while living together with my husband, but then he left, and everything fell apart,” says Diana.  – I couldn’t afford to buy anything for my three children, not even food or clothes, and I experienced fear.

Thank God for not letting us perish, and thanks to the people who supported us. I ask the Lord to help me raise my sons and I am grateful for today. I cook delicious food from everything people have given us, I wash clothes in the new washing machine bought by the Fund’s friends, I put the children not on the floor as before, but on new beds.  Today, I am at peace, nothing threatens us. The children are fed, clothed, and taken care of.

“There’s no money for shopping, yet your whole family is dressed, everybody’s happy!”

– Diane, what did you feed the kids today?

Diana: I made potato patties – while there is flour and potatoes at home, Pavlik and Vasily want me to bake yummies. They eat them well, they don’t even wait for them to cool down, they grab them hot. I make them lobiani, khachapuri. I couldn’t do it before: I didn’t have enough ingredients, and I couldn’t brown them properly on the old two-burner stove. I only gave them pasta. People brought us a lot of things: lobio, buckwheat, butter, sugar, flour, kisel, tea, cookies, kadas, marmalade candies… And the stove is new now, everything works just as it should. When women came to visit, they tried to cheer me up: “Maybe you’ll find your husband, maybe he’ll come back.” But I know he won’t. I went to the village near Rustavi, where he used to live, and he is not there.

– Don’t be sad, Diana. Now it’s time to think about yourself and your children.

Diana: I’ve had so much on my plate! The little one was screaming without diapers. I couldn’t give Vasily any medicine, and he needs to take them, he has nervous and mental manifestations. I got completely overwhelmed with the manual washing machine. The wooden door in the bathroom broke…

Slava’s in diapers now, as long as he needs them. He has diapers enough for change three or four times a day. And Vasily has diapers (size five-six), but I still put them on at night, sometimes he doesn’t control things… I bought him all the necessary pills, he takes them. He is the most mischievous, the main thing is to calm him down. You’ve sorted out the toilet door, you’ve put in metal-plastic ones – it’s beautiful! I really like the new sofa, it’s even a pity to sleep on it. Well, I of course, sleep on it with the little one. By the way, I sleep with the baby, of course. But I make sure that children do not jump on it.

“Pavlik can immerse himself in his tablet, playing sea battles, racing, shooting games, football…”

The children no longer sleep like orphans on the floor, they don’t catch colds, their legs and backs don’t ache.  Thanks to God and kind-hearted people. The bed linens they gave us are so beautiful! I never even made it to “Lilo”.  I dreamed of going there with my husband for shopping, for everything new… I’m sorry, I’m going on about myself again.

“The children no longer sleep like orphans on the floor, they don’t catch colds, their legs and backs don’t ache.”

Your people, who brought the new washing machine taught me how to use it. I’m doing laundry so well now, I’m really happy with how easy and fast it is!  I put the kids’ clothes to wash this morning.

(Vasily approaches with a toy car, whispering something into his mom’s ear.)

– Come on, Vasily, tell us too what you’re asking from mom. What do you want?

Diana: The little trickster really enjoyed himself at your warehouse (smiles). He says he wants to go there again. Of course, he loaded up on toy cars there. Your staff members all smile, help us try on clothes, and pack them. It’s great that there’s a place where the poor can choose clothes. Our whole family got dressed there. I got a lot of summer clothes for the boys. And some clothes to wear now. And I got myself a jacket and some sportswear.

“I take one toy car, and mark the second one…”

Diana: “The staff at the Chernovetskyi Fund are cheerful, always ready to help.”

“I got sweaters, pants, and sportswear for myself…”

The kids really enjoyed the Fund’s warehouse; they still want to visit again.

I am very happy and grateful to you. We are slowly getting our life back on track with your help. I realized that close people are not necessarily relatives, they can be strangers. A close person is someone who is kind to you, who protects you.

This is how happy Vasily looks, he has a crib, diapers, medications and food. Thank you to our readers for protecting three children from tears and worries!

– Dianochka, did we manage to protect you

Diana: You did it well. I believe you. A great wave of love has come my way; I’ve never experienced anything like this before.  Thank you for saving us from misery!  I had absolutely nowhere and no one to go to with them. Didi madloba to all! (“Thank you very much” in Georgian.)

– You can always count on the people in Georgia. And did the governmental institutions help?

Diana: The Rustavi City Hall helped us once, last year with appliances. But I guess we are not entitled to anything else. If only they painted these tattered walls or put wallpaper, we would be very happy. But for now, we’re living like this.

The kids are thrilled with your gifts!  Pavlik can immerse himself in his tablet completely; he has sea battles, races, shooting games, soccer, and various other games… My restless Vasenka, we all ride on the bike together, teaching him.  Before, the kids used to cry a lot and argue with each other. From hunger, from cold, from nerves… Thank you very much to all of you!  I am very grateful!

“We all teach Vasenka to ride the bike together.”

Diana has no idea yet how to go on living alone with three children. Thank you for helping her to recover from the shock of her husband’s betrayal and supporting her in a difficult moment. The Godoroba family is in constant need of diapers, food, children’s clothes, so the help can continue, friends!

If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on Facebook, or better call any of our beneficiaries, and all your problems will seem unimportant to you, compared with the problems of those to whom you helped in the most difficult moment of their lives.

Our problems are nothing if compared… Here are true misfortunes, in front of your eyes! Just thank the Lord for what you have. You are the happiest person in the world! Remember this and help those in need.

Unfortunately, problems of this and other families do not end here and now… Therefore, from time to time, look through the stories of unhappy people on our website, and talk to them. Every time you dial the phone of an unhappy person, God is blessing you! For sure! Go on helping these families! This is the best service to the Lord!

Friends, there is one more request: if you know about the misfortune of a neighbor or friend do a godly deed, drop us an email at: office-fsp@fsp.ge

Your kindness is a chance for yourself to be happy! Friends, thanks again to each of you!
