I don't want to be in the hospital, I want to be with my little brother and mom!
Barbara is three years old. She has spent most of her life in hospitals. She is afraid of all people in white coats, as she has had anesthesia 12 times, all her hands are punctured, and she underwent several serious operations. Doctors can't understand what's wrong with this beautiful girl: sometimes her face swells up, and pus flows from her eyes and nose.
You've extended the life of the severely ill Nini!
Let's smile, my friends! It's because of all of you that little Nini is filled with happiness! Her smile is meant just for you!
Nini has been in hospital for almost two years. When they brought her there lifeless, the doctors didn't even hope that she would ever wake up. But look at what happened! Nini not only woke up thanks to you but also became responsive! She asked for headphones with ears! It was her dream even before she ended up in the hospital, but her mother couldn't save up the money, as their income barely covered the cost of medications! And now, Nini has the headphones of her dream, and she listens to her favorite music, the singing of birds, and the sounds of nature! She can't say words of gratitude herself, so we - the entire Fund - say a big thank you on her behalf.
You are true 'dream fulfillers'!
Let's smile, friends! Hug Lazare with your soul! It's because of all of you that little one is filled with happiness! Her smile is meant just for you!
Lazare: You remember, I dreamed the most about a bicycle, but I had a crooked spine, and back then, I couldn't even walk properly, let alone ride a bicycle. And now look! I had surgery, and I have a bicycle. Mom doesn't cry anymore; she prays every day and says thanks to the Fund and the people... I even remembered the name of your Fund – 'Chernovetskyi Fund.' Mom says it so many times in her prayers! So, I want you to know that you are 'dream fulfillers'!
She doesn't have a doll yet, but she already has a name for it - Anna-Maria! Keta will love her with all her heart!
Sunny girl Keta doesn't want anyone to talk about her “boo-boo." She has many talents: she knows how to wash dishes, write sticks, hang laundry, and stop her mother's tears in one minute. But best of all, Keta knows how to love! She has a very warm heart that will warm anyone.
Kindness can even soothe pain
Lia: It turns out that besides pain, there is room in my life to smile. I thought I would never be able to smile again. I called for death, I wanted to die, and then you came along and made me happy, spoiled me. I was starving and dying without medications, and now I want to live! Thank you! May all who have supported me never know pain and loneliness!
I felt like a man
Mamuka: I've been lying like a corpse for years. No one remembered me, no one cared about me. I didn't expect anyone to take my request seriously. I asked for a razor and a TV, and within a month all my dreams came true! God, you heard my prayers, you heard my request! Here I am, lying and thinking about how to thank all these people for their kindness! But they do not need my gratitude because God will reward them himself!
I am romantic at heart!
All people look different, and we shouldn't judge them by their appearance! When I said that I wanted to sing and dreamed of a microphone and speakers, they laughed at me. They said, "You have nothing to eat, why sing?" But is a person satisfied with bread alone? In the evening, I sit with my mom and aunt, and I sing them songs, and they are happy. What else is there for us to do?
My wish before I die: “I beg you - when I'm gone, please, take care of Giorgi! The Lord will bless you all!”
Marina: My days are numbered. I do not know how much suffering I have left - I can no longer endure the pain. My skin has peeled off and the ulcers are bleeding. I have no one to take care of me but my son. My husband left me 14 years ago when he found out I had cancer. Since then, I have been fighting disease and poverty. God gave me the best son. He cooks food for me, gives me injections, feeds me, and manages to study well, to be the best student at school at the same time. I beg you, when I'm gone, please, take care of Giorgi! The Lord will bless you all!
– Is there anything that can ease your suffering and pain?
Marina: I need a bed and some delicious food for the days I have left. All my money is spent on medications.
I can't see, but I know, I feel in my heart, how much beauty there is around me. But thinking about it is very much hindered by hunger!
Nikoloz: I can't see anything. I even go to a special school for blind children. We have one very interesting thing there - a piano! I've never heard such beautiful sounds before. I'll probably play it when I grow up. I dream of a small piano that can fit in our house. I also dream of a Barbie house. I'll imagine that I live there, and I'll be happy. I also want a lot of delicious things: cake, meat, milk, yogurt, ice cream, sausages, and dumplings.
When I was born, they told my mom, "Prepare a coffin, not baby diapers!"
Levan: I am suffering! Living is very painful for me! My knees have turned into one big sore callus. It's painful to go down the stairs, but it's even more painful to stay at home trapped within four walls, like a condemned criminal. If I don't go outside, I'll most likely go insane. My mother can't carry me down anymore – I'm a grown adult. I have one dream – to stand on my feet and take at least one step. every day I pray to God for healthy and working legs. Perhaps He will hear me! For anyone who can hear me, I really, really need a proper bed! The mattress I sleep on now has rusty springs sticking out. When I turn, they dig into my skin. Well, I also need a wheelchair because I'm always borrowing one from kind people, but it's all broken. Lord, when will these trials end?! Help!
God has his plans for me!
God has his plans for me!
Almost like in a coffin! But in the ground, you at least don't feel pain, and you don’t need anything anymore ... If only I had a TV - to hear that I'm still alive and that Georgia is alive!
