You are important to us! You are dear to us!
Friends, look how happy the old and sick children of the Fund are with your gifts
The only dream of a mother whose son lies in the grave is to die and lie next to him!
After the death of my only daughter, I'm almost dead... I have only one dream left - to somehow feed my three orphaned grandchildren.
The last wish of old and lonely Georgian "children"
Fulfilled wishes of the elderly
With your love for me, your Fund lightened the darkness where I was lost all my life!
In short, the story of my life sounds like this: I ended up without a roof over my head, I was thrown out by my family to the street, I need to stretch one piece of bread for the whole day so as not to die of hunger and prove every day to the whole world that I - a blind person - also have the right to a decent life. At some point I started feeling very bad - poverty and loneliness can break anyone! God, I do not want to recall those dark days... and then you appeared. To say that the Chernovetskyi Fund helped me is to say nothing! You have done everything and even more so that I have the most vital things, starting with food and ending with a mobile phone, proving to me that I - a blind since childhood girl Diana - deserve care and attention. You showed me the world where there the kind and indifferent people live. With your love for me, you lightened the darkness where I was lost all my life! Thank you for everything! I will never get tired of thanking you!
For the first time in the last few years, I had a chance to recall the taste of fresh milk and meat!
I thought I would starve to death. Look at me - I am mere skin and bone. But the Lord took pity on me and you, caring people, appeared in my life... God, it turns out, that I missed the taste of milk and meat very much! You know, I will try to stretch this food for some time and eat them little by little! Thank you for letting me be a little happy!
You gave me a washing machine and the opportunity to live out my days with dignity.
“I have no words to thank you for it - my new helper! It was a nightmare for me to wash my things with aching hands in icy water and then wait for days until they dried in dampness! May God bless you for not letting me finally turn into a dirty hobo!”
God took pity on me and sent you to me!
My dear ones, I want to tell you one thing...Young people shouldn’t die and old people shouldn’t live out their days in unbearable conditions, starving. This is not normal - it shouldn’t be like that! God, I worked hard my entire life. Don’t I deserve a decent old age? No one cared about me you before you appeared, it seems that God took pity on me, heard my prayers, and sent you - the best people - to me! Thank you! What wonderful household appliances do I have now! I would never have bought all this, because sometimes I don’t even have money for bread!
We seniors enjoy candy like kids!
Maria: What do we - old people - need to be happy? To keep our legs and backs warm in winter and not to suffer from the heat in summer. To have enough money for medications. We don't expect more than that. But sometimes, we really crave some sweets with our tea! Do you think only children enjoy candy? You've brought me so much joy right now, and I will think of you every evening... probably for the rest of my life! I love you and send kisses!
Dear God, save everyone who reads these words!
Do you know what I want to tell you? Few people remembered me in recent years. So I lived out my days - a starving old woman that no one needed. My daughter did not eat her fill to leave me some food for the evening. Was it life? I wonder how my heart did not burst of that. We had nothing! No food, no medications. My mobile is so old, sometimes it was impossible to turn it on. I kept thinking - what if suddenly I feel bad, and won’t be able to call the ambulance and my daughter? How do they say - a light at the end of the tunnel? It exists! You, like a ray of light, appeared in my life and illuminated it with your kindness and love. I thought I deserved these torments and suffering. But you returned me the faith that I deserve to be happy at least a little, you reminded me the taste of my favorite food and instilled in me the hope that I was not alone. The entire Georgia, the kindest people in the world stand for my family! Dear God, save everyone who reads these words!
You fulfilled my last wish!
Liunina: I'm already too old to dream. I didn't expect anyone to respond to an old person's request, because there are so many starving children and unhappy families in the world! But great people live in Georgia! They respect the elderly. I couldn't even imagine that the words of an old woman, a stranger's old woman, would touch people's hearts. Thank you, my dear ones, thank you for being here. People like you are what make Georgia the greatest country!
I was embarrassed to dream. But you made my dreams come true and extended my life for a few more years, I swear!
When you asked me what I dreamed about, I laughed. It was a laughter of bitterness, disappointment, and powerlessness. Dream? I survive every day, what dreams are you talking about?! I am a realist, and my main need is food, medications, and diapers - everything that makes my daily torment easier. Well, I was embarrassed to dream. I thought no one cared about my dreams. No matter that there was no water heater, and my bathing was a torture for me, my sick wife, and her mother, dying of cancer. No matter that my mobile phone was broken, and I was not able to call the ambulance if I felt very bad. I was really mistaken...The Fund put the best people together and they made my dreams come true. You extended my life for a few more years, I swear! I thank God that you appeared in my life, otherwise it would have turned into real hell on earth. You are my guardian angels! I think I have not lived in vain since I have earned such love from you! Thank you, my dear ones!
I will ask God that this is not the last winter for me!
It seemed to me that I was living out my days and this would be my last winter - how would I endure these frosts? I was sick, hungry, I was freezing, no one needed me... As they say, there was no one to bring a glass of water to me, right? It is about me.
The dreams of a lonely grandmother with a sick grandson have come true!
Malardo: God hears my prayers! Not a single prayer is lost in the heavens! My day begins and ends with prayers for all of you—people I don't even know. What have you done, my dear ones? How did you do it? You took these funds from your family budget and gave them to my unfortunate grandson? It was so hard for me to change and feed him on that old, dilapidated couch! I couldn't even imagine that there are special beds for bedridden patients. Now it's comfortable for both of us, and he is not in pain!
