0901200270“You will not take me away from my mother!”
“Will he suffer for long?”
‘When the baby is not hungry, he’s just happy”
“I imagine that my dad left for work and will come back soon – it is much easier to live with such thought.”
“I am a helper. I can cook, and wash dishes, and entertain Gio!”
“My teacher Maia, I love you, and I want to be like you”
When death and disease knocked us down, your kindness brought us up
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!
The smile of that anguished little boy is your merit
When miracles happen, Georgians say: “Something unknowable does exist.” By this “something unknowable” some mean one thing, others another… I believe that all these good people were sent to me by the soul of my late husband. His prayer saved us. When my husband died, I didn’t know how to continue my life without him… How would I support my three children? My little Gio has such terrible problems. He has had seven major surgeries. Every time we discharged the baby from the hospital, he was half-dead. My husband was very worried about it, and it drove him to his grave! When death and disease knocked us down, your kindness brought us up. Yes, yes! Something unknowable does exist!”
Do you see, my dear readers? You have warmed the home of one more family, given a widowed mother a smile, and made the days of three sweet children beautiful. Thank you for that. Thank you for all your kindness!
“I dreamed of just such a tablet and at that time I didn’t want to wake up … And now, I have it!”
We knew that after publishing a post about the Podiashvili family, their lives would change for the better. Because in our Fund miracles happen every day, but it is very hard to convince of this people who are exhausted by a hard life.
Barbare (9-year-old): A big car came to us many times and brought us many gifts. We had none of that. We didn’t have anything…
What makes you so happy, Barbare?
Barbare: How not to rejoice? Look, just look: My mom has a washing machine! No more hand washing. We have a TV, a refrigerator, medications for Gio, we have gas! We have porridge for Gio. And I have… (Mischief appears in her eyes)
“I can turn it on and order: Wash the laundry, friend! »
– And what about you? What do you have?
Barbare: They gave me the tablet of my dreams! I could not even imagine that I would have it! I don’t believe it! Mommy will tell you how I danced for joy when they gave me this little box. I dreamed not to cry with joy.
“I greet you all from my beautiful tablet. Here I can also draw using special programs”
– Tamar, I want first to ask you about Gio. What is his state of health at the moment?
Tamari: Gio is doing better. After seven surgeries, we are now undergoing rehabilitation. I would like to thank your Fund for contacting the public defender’s office. They responded promptly. The local social service gave us a 300-gel voucher for special food for Gio and a 200-gel voucher for hygiene products and diapers. This was very important to us.
– Tamar, we are happy that we managed to change your life for the better at least a little.
Tamari: Oh! A little? You have given us boundless joy. I would like to thank everyone for such support. My orphaned children and I will never forget these days… When someone asks me to list the happiest days of my life, I will always remember them!
“I look at this refrigerator with hope. I think we won’t run out of food either… It would be nice if that was the case! “
– What did you like the most?
Tamari: You have chosen all the gifts for us with such precision… Like people say – “I dreamed about it”, “this is exactly what we need” – that’s how it happened! Your fund is doing so great: you come, get to know us, a spiritual bond develops between us, you pay attention to all the details and remember everything. We already consider you our family… Thank you for every gift and for the support you have given to my children. Special thanks for the washing machine – it made my work easier. My baby is sick, and you probably know what kind of care he needs. I had tons of laundry piled up. Washing laundry with hands in cold water is so hard.
The little “robber” grabbed the remote control and turned on the cartoons
– Barbara said you like detectives…
Barbare: Did the fridge make you happy? Throughout the summer, in the heat, you dreamed of cold water. You’ve worked so hard and got tired. And we couldn’t even give you cold water at home
“Refrigerator, refrigerator, fill up!”
– Tamar, a lot of people read the article about your trouble. Has anyone called you? Has anyone come to visit you in person to help?
Tamari: Yes! One good young man called us. His name is Mate. He came to visit us along with his colleague girl. I don’t know where they work, but I know it for sure they are amazingly smart and kind young people! They brought us lots of groceries and the necessary items. The New Year was coming. We didn’t even have firewood. We were cold. Thanks to them the New Year is warm and prosperous for us. They even paid off our debt for gas and electricity. I would like to thank them through your article. I would like to tell them that I will always remember them. I will always pray that this kindness will return a hundredfold to these wonderful young people.
“I can even help my mom make soup. Cooking is more fun with the new gas stove”
– Tamar, although we all tried to somehow make your life easier, but this would not put an end to your problems. You have many more needs, and we again want to ask our faithful friends and readers to help you with solving them. What is the most important thing for you at the moment?
Tamari: The most important thing for me is the health of my Gio. At the moment, he needs examinations, consultations with a urologist, a neurologist and a surgeon. The artificial gut that was implanted in him requires constant monitoring. In addition, he had epileptic seizures after his fifth surgery – can you imagine how devastating it is for his body to have so much anesthesia at such a young age? He also has a developmental delay. Gio definitely needs a medical exam. None of this is funded, and I can’t save that kind of money. Even a visit to the doctor costs a lot of money – incredibly expensive for me!
Barbare: I need school supplies and my bag and shoes are torn. Can you give me new notebooks and pens at least for the new school year? I promise to do well at school. From the fifth grade, the teachers will give us grades, and you will see that I will get three tens and sometimes even four at the same time.
Barbara’s voice rang in my ears for a long time, the tinkling voice of a girl who longed for school supplies. And her mother does not have the money to buy them. She needs to take care of the sick Gio first. Her mom doesn’t have the money to go to the doctors. It is so hard when you are poor and sick at the same time. Our dear friends, we address you again! Let’s not leave this family in trouble, let’s unite! Let’s help little Gio, let’s fulfill the dream of his family!
