A mother, sick children and husband are at death’s door! There’s no money for medications, and the children are humiliated at school! Friends, the Lord gives us the opportunity to open our hearts and souls to Him! To do good deeds and help our fellow countrymen—children and adults—who have never seen a joyful day in their lives. A lump rises in the throat. Words are unnecessary here.

Help is urgently needed! The mother of a large family is “dying” from heartbreak, a home in ruins, and the cruel humiliation of her children at school! The poor woman’s heart couldn’t take it anymore! Whether this Georgian family lives or dies in suffering—God has left the decision in our hands!

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!

This is what hell may look like, but not the life of a Georgian family!

A mother, sick children and husband are at death’s door! There’s no money for medications, and the children are humiliated at school!

The girl was beaten by her classmates until she had a concussion! And the teacher chased her away from a piece of cake that the whole class was raising money for! Lord, how could an adult, whose duty it is to care for children, treat a child this way?! What a humiliation! Could this really have happened in Georgia?! The poor woman is suffering from a nearly fatal illness – heart failure – and has just enough medications left for one more week. One day without those pills could be fatal! If we don’t help, four sick children will be left orphans!

Lord, please help! This is a big, loving family! Good people! And they all, every single one of them, need medical help and our heartfelt care!

Shorena (21-year-old): “Our mother has heart failure, and she experiences bouts of suffocation, struggling to breathe and barely able to walk. If she misses just one day of her medication, she will die! And she only has enough pills for one more week.”

“Please save our mother, don’t leave us orphans! What will happen to us?”

Shorena: “There is no family in the whole district more in need than ours. My parents are sick, and my three brothers are sick. We survive on social allowance and disability pensions. Our house is falling apart before our eyes, the walls are cracked and crumbling. It’s terrifying—what if the roof falls on our heads?!

There are very cruel people living nearby! God, where does so much cruelty towards the poor come from?”

— And what do they say?

Shorena: “They say that we are poor. That we can’t even afford to repair our house. I constantly argue with them: ‘So what? Don’t you know what poverty is? Is it something to be ashamed of?’ It hurts me to tears.”

“When it rains outside, it rains in our house the same way. There are no intact windows, no doors.”

May no child ever experience the kind of childhood this young girl had. Children at school bullied Shorena because she came from a poor family. They didn’t invite her to birthday parties, and when the whole class celebrated, they didn’t even offer her a piece of cake. Because she couldn’t contribute money for the cake.

Once, her classmates beat Shorena so badly that she suffered a concussion and ended up in the hospital.

The doctors said that only sadists could do something like that. But these were children—fourth-grade students. Where did they get such cruelty?! After this incident, her mother took her out of school. And imagine, Shorena asked not to retaliate against her abusers, to be kinder, and not to file a complaint.
Because God sees everything! What a kind heart this girl has!

Mzia (mother, 54 years old): “I was injured during childbirth and now I can barely move. The fact that I survived is a miracle of the Lord. Both my child and I could have died. But God is merciful to us. My son was born with a paralyzed arm and leg.”

“All my life I’ve watched my son suffer. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy!”

The youngest child was born without one kidney.

Mzia: “I can’t bear so much grief and hardship anymore. I’ve started having heart problems, I’m short of breath and struggling to breathe. I only have enough medication left for one more week. I don’t know what I’ll do when it runs out. The doctor said that missing just one day of medication could cause me to suffocate because my airways are blocked. I am only surviving thanks to the medication.”

Mzia: “My husband can’t work due to his health. He also has heart problems, and his pension barely covers his medication. He urgently needs to see a doctor. But where can we find the money for that?”

Here is our middle son, Mishiko. Despite having a sore arm, he takes on odd jobs to support the family, he helps neighbors. Just yesterday, he earned 20 lari with one hand and brought groceries home.

Mishiko (20 years old): “I was working with an electric saw and injured my arm. Thank God I didn’t cut off my hand. It was an unbearable pain! I had surgery, and now I can’t fully move my arm or straighten my fingers. I never had a childhood. I lived to 20 without ever having a phone, and I still don’t have one. I have a request: if possible, please buy me a phone.”

“Four children grew up, but they still have unfulfilled childhood dreams—of toys, a bicycle, a phone, a TV to watch movies. They were deprived of all these things.” Shorena has to wash all the family’s clothes and bed linen by hand since they don’t have a washing machine.

The family eats at a social canteen. Soup, porridge, and bread—that’s all they have to eat.

This basin serves as a refrigerator. Food spoils quickly in this heat.

They don’t even have a stove in the house, so they cook on a gas cylinder. But they often don’t have money for gas either.

Look at the terrible condition of the bathroom! There’s no hot water. They have to heat water in a kettle.
