Their shoes are soaked through, and instead of a warm dinner, they drink tea with steal bread. They can’t even escape the freezing winter winds because broken windows and an old wooden door let the cold air rush in. It’s as if the whole world has turned against these orphans. Who knows, perhaps their father is looking down in sorrow, unable to rest in peace knowing his children are in such misery. But we cannot let this continue! These little angels, left without a father, have only one hope—you, kind-hearted people!

Gio has been in a coma for three months. The only sign of life he shows is opening and closing his eyes. Just think how unbearable this is—a 21-year-old man has to spend his days in a hospital bed, breathing through a machine. He receives food and water through a feeding tube. But the worst part is the seizures tormenting Gio. They’re so severe they twist his arms and legs. How does he endure such suffering? How does he manage to survive? His mother is by his side 24/7, holding him tightly until each seizure passes. Heartbroken, she clings to her son’s hand and constantly talks to him, hoping he can hear her: “Gio, my son! Wake up!” Gio’s young and happy life was shattered in an instant. On September 15, 2024, he was involved in a horrific accident in Germany, where he had gone to work.  Multiple injuries to his body and organs weren’t as devastating as the blow to his chest. His heart stopped. No one gave him a chance—no guarantees, no false hopes. Doctors told his parents to pray for a miracle. And the miracle happened. Gio managed to survive. German managed to bring the boy back from the brink of death. His heart started beating again, but he didn’t regain consciousness and fell into a coma.  The diagnosis is grim—brain infarction. Fortunately, Gio still has a chance to come back to life because he has already won the biggest battle.  Please, save this young man! He won’t be able to cope without your help! 

Lamara is 92 years old. Look at her swollen, tear-filled eyes. This unfortunate, bedridden, elderly woman cannot buy eye drops to avoid going blind, which cost only 7 GEL. Lamara: “I’m lying here hungry, in a freezing house, my dear. I’m utterly exhausted. Eating even once a day is a blessing for me. I can’t move around on my own. My son and daughter-in-law take care of me, but they both have health issues and can’t work. We survive on my pension and social assistance. My son has had two spinal surgeries – he needs help himself. We have only one hope left—you, kind people!” 

Gio has experienced clinical death four times in a row! Just imagine what his mother must have gone through, watching her son die in her arms—it’s a pain no one should ever endure. The harrowing fear left her with diabetes. Gio was born healthy, but life took an unexpected turn. At the age of two, he was diagnosed with epilepsy, a condition they have not been able to control. Later, more devastating diagnoses followed: cerebral palsy and autism. His condition worsens every day. He suffers up to 10 seizures daily, none of which can be stopped by medication. Gio urgently needs to undergo medical examinations and start a new treatment plan, but there’s no money for doctors. The family survives on Gio’s disability pension and social allowance, which isn’t even enough for basic food. Gio, his sister, and their mother are often left hungry. Thank God for the food provided by the social canteen; without it, they would have starved to death.

Raul was only 20 days old when a high fever caused him to have severe seizures. There was no doctor in the village, and by the time they got him to the district center he got paralyzed. The devastating diagnosis was cerebral palsy (CP). His parents were shocked – they hadn’t yet recovered from a horrific tragedy: their firstborn daughter, just 1 year and 8 months old, had died of diphtheria. Imagine how hard it was for them to accept their son’s condition! For 26 years, Raul has lived with constant pain. His left leg is so twisted it can’t be straightened. Raul’s spine is severely curved, which has deformed his internal organs. Even breathing is painful for him. He cannot go without painkillers and sedatives. He’s been in a wheelchair since childhood. It has replaced his legs, as he cannot take even a few steps on his own.

This is three-year-old Giorgi. The child is hungry, and the only food in the house is one piece of bread. The starving boy started to eat the bread eagerly but then stopped. His big blue eyes looked up at the foundation’s correspondent, and timidly, he offered her the only piece he had, saying: “Auntie, you must be hungry too.  Please, eat.” This kind boy’s clothes are so worn out that even a dump might have better options. The boy is sick, running a high fever, and has the flu. But his single mother cannot afford to buy medicine due to extreme poverty. The child can no longer bear the hardship, illness, and suffering, and so he cries bitterly. Look into his eyes, even for a moment! Do you think this is a scene from a dramatic movie? It’s not. No actor could ever portray the pain in the eyes of this little angel. And yet, he’s only three years old.

Nini was only two years old when her mother, Olga, became paralyzed. After a stroke, Olga lost the use of her entire right side.  She couldn’t walk, take care of herself, or even speak. This brave young girl has taken on the care of her mother entirely by herself. She feeds her, bathes her, and carries her—literally. Despite everything, Nini is thriving. She’s an excellent student and even finds time to dance. Strong and responsible, this incredible girl refuses to give up, especially when it comes to her mom. Nini looks after her mother with the help of her grandmother. Every day, she monitors her condition, helps her exercise on at-home equipment, and gives her massages. But it’s not enough. Olga has a real chance to walk again – maybe with crutches or a cane, but still. And she needs ongoing rehabilitation under the guidance of professionals. Unfortunately, the cost of treatment is far beyond what this family can afford. Let’s help Olga achieve her dream of walking again!

A mother of three children is being eaten alive by a malignant tumor that is spreading throughout the body at a terrifying speed! Do you know what this means? Insidious bone cancer is capturing all healthy organs one by one: the mammary gland, the thyroid gland, the spine. Friends, God gives us one chance to save a life, but we need to act right now! The young woman needs a course of expensive chemotherapy in Turkey. The cost of one procedure is about five thousand dollars. In order to get back on her feet, Natela needs to pay for three of these procedures and, most importantly, endure them. Of course, her relatives are selling everything valuable they have, but this is not enough. The family cannot cope without your help!

The second, most complicated operation costs 15 thousand dollars. The only hope for these unfortunate mother and daughter is you, good people! There is very little time. According to Turkish doctors, if Natia does not undergo a second operation in a few days, then the good result of the first operation will not only be “lost”, but Natia’s condition will also worsen, and why, the doctors explained to us in detail, but we will not bother you, dear reader. The War in Abkhazia More than 10,000 Georgian civilians lost their lives. Approximately 10,000 were wounded or maimed, and over 300,000 Georgians were forcibly expelled from their homes in Abkhazia by separatists. At just 20 years old, Lika bandaged wounds and stopped the bleeding of soldiers during the Abkhazian War. She never left the bodies of fallen soldiers on the battlefield.  Risking her own life, she carried them out so their parents could at least have a grave to bury their sons. This brave young woman is now a widow. She has no home, no food, and no money for medicine. She lives in the same conditions as a stray dog. This horrifying building, once a tuberculosis clinic, is now her home.  There’s no electricity, no heating, no windows. The walls are rotting from dampness.  Lika, a hero who saved so many lives and fought for the unity of her homeland, now resides in this terrible place. Even in the homeland she fought to protect, there wasn’t a single decent room for Lika. Left without shelter, she was forced to seek refuge in an abandoned building still infested with tuberculosis bacteria known to science for centuries. These rooms, once occupied by tuberculosis patients battling for their lives, are now the only place this heroic woman can call home. Oh, God, it is so terrible!
Even worse, Lika is seriously ill. She underwent heart surgery, but her condition remains critical, requiring ongoing treatment. She has no money for bread, let alone medication. She also has a large uterine cyst that needs urgent removal, or it will develop into a tumor.

Friends, this boy has endured a grueling three-year fight with cancer. He has bravely undergone 9 rounds of chemotherapy, 31 radiation treatments, and several complex surgeries, including the removal of his right kidney and a bone marrow transplant.  For a moment, it seemed like the worst was behind him, that the danger had passed. But the cancer came back—a relapse. Neuroblastoma progresses rapidly, spreading metastases throughout the body at an alarming rate. This is why Nikoloz’s mother made the urgent decision not to waste any time and take him to Turkey for treatment.  The last hope for saving Nikoloz is an expensive chemotherapy course. Each round costs $50,000, and he will need five rounds in total—amounting to $250,000. This treatment is his ticket to life, but his family cannot afford it. If we don’t help Nikoloz complete this lifesaving chemotherapy, it will be as if we are signing his death sentence. Our support can give this boy the chance to emerge victorious from this brutal battle. We cannot stop now. Nikoloz’s family has hope left only in God and the kindness of compassionate people.

These poor children thank God every day for saving them from their mother, who beat and starved them! What a nightmare! Mariam, Nikoloz, and Tengo deprived of almost everything lived in a house, surrounded by filth and chaos. Their father was in prison at the time, falsely accused by their own abusive mother of domestic violence, unaware of what was happening.  You will be horrified by what these children revealed to the foundation’s reporter. Marika (11-year-old): “How can you call that woman a mother? I don’t think of her as one!    She treated me and my little brothers so horribly. She beat us! She never cooked for us; we lived on bread and tea every day. We were always hungry! There was food in the fridge, but we weren’t allowed to touch it. At night, she’d leave us alone and go to the neighbors. I don’t even know what she was doing there!” 

This is 10-year-old Elen. Elene was born with a spinal hernia. Her little heart has endured nine rounds of anesthesia. Her first surgery was at just four months old, the second at age four, and the third—just one year ago, at nine. With hope in her heart, she went into her last operation. Tragically, it turned her life upside down. The third operation turned out to be devastating for this little girl. It caused paralysis in her legs, leaving her completely numb below the waist.  Worse still, her legs became so severely deformed that she can no longer bend her knees or walk properly.

This is three-year-old Saba. Take a close look at the child’s T-shirt. Even at a landfill, you’d find a T-shirt in better condition than this one. But the most alarming thing is that Saba has a high fever. Sadly, his single mother can’t buy medicine at the pharmacy because of her dire financial situation. Look at him—he’s drinking hot water without sugar or jam. And no, you’re not mistaken—there’s only hot water in that cup. In his other hand, this little angel holds a dry piece of bread. There isn’t even a slice of cheese in the house. The Khubashvili family has five young children. You’ll hardly ever see smiles on their faces. Oh God, oh God! This is so heartbreaking! Kind people! These little angels have been left at the mercy of fate. The most heartbreaking thing is that with each passing day, they are losing faith. We cannot let this happen! Kind people let’s not abandon these children—already abandoned by their father. A long winter with dark, cold days lies ahead. But kindness, care, and love can brighten even the gloomiest days for these little ones.

This little girl is crying because her bottle is empty, and she’s still hungry. Yes, still hungry. But… God, it’s so hard to write these words. Seven pairs of sad, innocent eyes. Why? Why? How can this world bear so much injustice? Some people have so much that they’ve lost even the ability to find joy in it. Meanwhile, others dream of nothing more than a warm bed. Kind-hearted people, the children’s biggest dream is to finish covering the greenhouse. If these hardworking children had a functioning greenhouse, they could grow enough food not just for their family but even to sell some. The Manukyan family would have a steady income, and maybe one day, one of these children will grow up to become an entrepreneur and help other needy families. But until that day comes, we need to extend a helping hand to the Manukyan family. These angelic children will never forget your kindness. And years from now, in a world beyond this one, we will stand before the Lord, and God the Father will open the doors to His Kingdom, where we will forever rest under His grace.

Their living conditions are heartbreaking. The woman, who suffers from spine issues, sleeps on a wooden couch; they need beds, mattresses, and warm clothing. The roof leaks so badly that during rain, water pours inside as if they were outdoors. The windows are old, broken, and drafty, making the room freezing cold. They don’t have a heater or firewood; a kind neighbor lent them a heater, but they must return it in ten days, and they’ll be left shivering.  If they fall ill, they won’t have money for fever medicine. Winter is approaching, the weather is worsening, and rain is frequent, making it harder for them to leave the house. Nona and Nino don’t even own warm jackets!  Our support is more crucial than ever for these two vulnerable women. They are waiting for the support of Chernovetskyi Fund friends.  Let’s help them through the winter – let’s give them a chance at life.

This is Angelina, an 11-year-old girl – delicate and beautiful, like an angel. But if you look into her eyes just once, you will feel her suffering.  She was operated on twice, and part of her intestine was removed, yet doctors still haven’t confirmed a diagnosis. She needs another surgery to remove the painful growth you see on her stomach. One growth has already been removed. If we unite, these little angels won’t have to sit in a cold, dark room during the freezing winter nights. Yes, winter is coming soon, and the sun’s warmth will no longer be enough for these poor sisters. Kind people – let’s not leave sick Angelina and her sisters in such dire straits.

Friends, Murman needs long-term rehabilitation. But the family, now without their only breadwinner, has no money for this. They’re surviving on social allowance and disability payments, barely enough to cover his medications and essentials like adult diapers. Murman’s wife doesn’t even have the money for a taxi to take him to therapy. It may seem like someone who’s bedridden doesn’t need much, but in reality, the opposite is true. Every month, Murman needs medication, special care supplies, and an anti-bedsore mattress. His wife is at his side 24/7 and can’t work, so she’s unable to meet all these needs alone. “I want to survive and stand on my feet for my children! My little ones need their mom! For God’s sake, help me!” – these were the only words Lika could whisper when I visited her in the hospital. With a tracheostomy tube in her throat, it’s hard for her to speak.

In May, while eight months pregnant, she contracted chickenpox.  Complications set in, so that her baby didn’t survive, and both her kidneys failed, and nearly all her vital organs stopped functioning. Just look at what the illness has done to this once beautiful young woman—she’s unrecognizable now! There’s such sorrow in her eyes. Lika lost her fourth child and barely escaped with her own life!

Eleven-year-old Nika suffers from severe epileptic seizures, each one like a small brush with death. Where once his intense convulsions occurred once a month, now they strike every other day.  His mother has learned to manage the episodes but lives in constant fear for his life. The family can’t afford medicine or diapers. To leave children without a life-saving pill is to condemn them to torment! Like any other children, Andria, Nika, and Anna deserve to live happily, explore the world, and enjoy a carefree childhood. But they can’t do it without our support.  Help is needed urgently – there’s still time to make a difference, but it’s running out!

This is 7-year-old Alina. Look at these photos and you will immediately understand that the little angel is fighting death with all her might. The girl does not give up, but her little heart can no longer stand it. She can no longer endure this. Who knows, maybe one day she will surrender to death forever. No!!! No!!! Mariam miraculously survived a horrific car accident. It was a fateful taxi ride, and another car crashed into theirs at high speed. Two people died on the spot, and doctors can say they pieced the young woman back together. Most of her vital organs were damaged, and she had to have her spleen and gallbladder removed. Look at these horrific photos from the accident scene! Mariam says she is under God’s protection—how else could she have survived? But another blow awaited her: doctors discovered tumors in Mariam’s spleen. She endures excruciating pain that worsens every day, yet she holds back her tears. The family lives in extreme poverty, relying solely on social allowance.  There is no money for medications or exams.

Look at this little angel, how beautiful she is. Her eyes are so deep, so full of expression…  Just one glance into Anna-Maria’s eyes, is enough to feel that her little heart is full of kindness. Yet a cruel fate threatens to stop this kind heart beating orever. We can’t let that happen! No! Kind people, besides the fact that Anna-Maria’s surgery couldn’t be planned due to financial hardship, her mother now faces another big problem. There’s no one to stay with the child while she goes to the clinic to collect the documents needed for her surgery. When he was four years old, an accident deprived him of an eye. Mom has an aneurysm. She often faints and suffers from headaches. Anano can’t comprehend why her father hasn’t come home or why he no longer showers her with affection. When the Fund’s correspondent visited their home, the happy child asked the “stranger auntie,” “Is Daddy coming home soon?” Oh God, how hard it is to hear those words from a child! Kind people, we cannot bring back the father of this 4-year-old girl, but we can save her uncle. He can become a father to Anano and, most importantly, he can still become a father himself. Only you, kind people, can turn the sound of mourning into the joyful ringing of a new family’s happiness—a family made up of a 21-year-old girl and a 24-year-old boy. The clock is ticking!  Every minute counts!

When Otar and Tsiuri got married, they often pictured themselves 40 years down the line, laughing joyfully together. The newlyweds envisioned their old age in a warm home, with a cup of hot tea, surrounded by children and grandchildren. They dreamed of a sweet old age, but life’s twists and turns took this couple down a very different path. Get ready, because what I’m about to share will make your soul weep.

Miraida is only 14 years old, and her life has been a series of heavy trials. First, she lost her father and became an orphan. Now, she is facing a terrifying illness—stomach cancer.
