The Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave presents to children

The children living in the villages near the occupation line, in the conflict zone, became presents, toys and other necessary things from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Georgian Diaspora in New York collected presents for children on the initiative of Consulate General of Georgian.

“The toys for kindergarten near the occupation line, village Mereti, were given to the kindergarten. There are 35 children at Mereti kindergarten who come from five municipalities Mereti, Koshki, Gugutiantkari, Zardiantkari and Arbo. The employees of Press and Communications Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs brought these presents there. It is worth noting that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shows special care for children living in the villages near the occupation line. On the initiative of the Ministry, for the last two years not only one event was held in Tbilisi for children, including the Ministry held a New Year Party and welcomed the children living in the villages near the occupation line. The Ministry with assistance of Georgian Diasporas in different countries will hold charity events like this in the future in other villages near the occupation line”, - it is said in the Ministry.
