The large Bagalishvili family from Kakheti received gifts within the charity campaign "Help a Stranger Friend". Friends, we have managed to bring happiness to children who have never had their own toys. In an interview with the film crew of the Chernovetskyi Fund, the mother of the family, Nunu, said that her kids had previously played with homemade toys - such as colored plastic bottle caps that they found thrown out on the road.
Recently, these beautiful children received cars, dolls, board games, building kits, plush toys, which were collected for them by the pupils of the “Mother.ge” kindergarten with great care.
In the Bagalashvili family, three of the children, Tamara, Tatia, and Tengo, suffer from hypothyroidism, a disorder of the thyroid gland. They need to undergo monthly tests and take medication under the supervision of a doctor. If they don't, the illness will cause irreversible processes. They are already experiencing intellectual disabilities and developmental delays. Tornike has a spinal curvature and cannot hold his neck straight. And Tika has epilepsy. The father of the family has been diagnosed with lung cancer. The social allowance they receive is barely enough for basic necessities like flour and cheap groceries or the treatment of one child. Not to mention the toys!
So, friends, our task now is not only to give toys to these children but to give them life itself! They deserve to live! We won't forgive ourselves if they are absent from our lives!
We thank everyone who contributed and brought joy to this large family with a pleasant surprise!
