The Chernovetskyi Fund hosted a reception for philanthropists. "Kindness is contagious!"

Gratitude is the best gift a person can give

The Chernovetskyi Charity Fund expresses gratitude to all those people who made even a small contribution to help the beneficiaries of the Fund. It was such philanthropists (but not all of them) that the Fund hosted. During the event, they were awarded diplomas for their kindness and responsiveness. The children, too, expressed their gratitude. They prepared the best gift for philanthropists – drawings created with their little hands and big hearts.

Mrs. Nanuli has been helping the little beneficiaries of the Fund for many years

Nanuli:  "When I watch your videos, my blood runs cold; I feel so sorry for these children. How can I sit at home peacefully when I know that some children are freezing in the cold, others are hungry, and some dream of a piece of chocolate. To do good, you don't necessarily need a lot of money. Tell me, how can I eat when I know that little children dream of stale bread? If all of us provide even a small help to those in need, within our capabilities, then in Georgia there won't be such a large number of hungry children as there are now – children whose stomachs cramp from hunger. My dears.  They are like grandchildren to me. As long as I am alive, I will share every piece with them. As for the Fund, you are doing such a deed that sometimes it seems to me that the Lord Himself sent you to help these poor children.

As part of the event, the Fund honored philanthropists with diplomas for their kindness and compassion.

Mr. Benny doesn't like to talk about his charitable deeds, but kindness is contagious, and that's precisely why I, as a correspondent, feel compelled to publicly write about his philanthropy. Mr. Benny has been living in Georgia for 10 years. He first learned about the Fund six years ago, and since then, not a single day has passed without him inquiring about the well-being of the beneficiaries of the Fund. Over these six years, Mr. Benny has helped numerous beneficiaries of the fund – sick children, underprivileged families, lonely sick mothers, and abandoned elderly people.

(Benny) - "When I first saw the Fund's videos about large families and sick children living in need, I lost my peace of mind. I called my Georgian friends, and the first thing I asked about was the Fund's reputation.  They spoke such words that made me even more eager to join the Fund. And when I interacted with the staff, the positive emotions exceeded my expectations. I saw that what they do is not just a 'job' for them; they are engaged in this noble cause with their whole soul and heart. How many children's lives have been saved with the help of the Fund? How many children have you rescued from a death of hunger? And you have been doing this systematically for countless years.  I admire you. I am with you, and it will always be so!

"Artwork from the fund's young beneficiaries, presented to the philanthropists as a heartfelt token of gratitude."

"These dear little hands have drawn so beautifully.  I will hang this picture in my room."

"These dear tiny fingers." How did they manage to draw so beautifully? This is the most precious gift for me. I have been a supporter of the Chernovetskyi Charity Fund for many years, always striving to help children from underprivileged families as much as I can. I have also 'recruited' my neighbors. Kindness is truly contagious! When you feed a hungry child or put a warm coat on a freezing child, look into that child's eyes, and believe me, you will remember their shining and grateful eyes for the rest of your life. Personally, for me, looking into their happy eyes adds years to my life."
