You know what happens to a person when they don't eat for a day? Or two days? Or three? What if that person is a 10-year-old girl? And her 9-year-old sister? And there are five of them in the family! We'll tell you right now. We always tell you everything. Mari (10 years old): On the first day, it was still okay. It was just hard to fall asleep. The smell of bread kept haunting me all the time. On the second day, my stomach and head started hurting. I can't remember which one hurt more. In the evening, I even felt like crying. But I held back my tears so that I wouldn't show them to Mom. I'm the oldest, after all! If I had cried, everyone else would have cried too. On the third day, everything sounded muffled in my ears, and there were gray spots in my vision.

This family needs clothes the most. Clothe them, and your soul will be enveloped with God's blessings!

You shared your breakfast, lunch, and dinner with us and didn't let us perish!

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

The proud owner of five bags!

Anuki was often bullied at school because she didn't have a backpack and carried her notebooks and books in plastic bags. But now she has five (!) school bags for each day of the week, and she has shown up all her tormentors. Before the project, the large Prokhorov family - five children and their mother - slept cramped together on a single bed.

Finally, the family members started to get enough sleep, as they now have two bunk beds!

And the most important thing - the days of multi-day hunger have ended!  You brought groceries from different cities in Georgia so that the children could regain their strength after prolonged exhaustion, so they could eat their fill!

The class chat was unavailable for Nini, as well as TikTok, messenger, movies, games, quick photos! Now the blue-eyed beauty will catch up with everything and everyone!

- Alla, how many times a day do you feed the children now? That's what worries us the most.

Alla: Three times, and it will be like this for several more months. We have many kind helpers and saviors who have provided us with a decent supply of food. People shared with us everything they had!

Giorgi Kiladze from Batumi treats us like family, looks after us. He's a very generous and kind-hearted person! We know his family and friends; they all came here together. He brought sacks of flour, potatoes, and gave us a bread maker. Now I bake bread myself. They brought so many sweets that the children ate them for two months. And he dressed the children. He passed on clothes from his clothing store to us.

Sofiko, the parent from my eldest daughter Mari's class, was one of the first to come, my golden one. She also brought groceries. Nini, our neighbor from Poti, also gave flour, potatoes... I have grains, sugar, sunflower oil, and semi-finished products... The younger ones have plenty of porridge; the Fund gave us.   Both I and the children have perked up. God forbid we ever reach the extreme again, what we went through, it was horrible!

Nini (9 years old): Without food, I feel bad and sad, but with food, I feel happy!

Mari (10-year-old): Without clothes and without a bed, my mood isn't great either. I used to always be grumpy, angry, and crying. And I had insomnia.

- Insomnia at such a young age?!

Mari: Have you ever tried sleeping with five people in one bed, auntie? Do you know how difficult it is? Anuki always used to wake me up, she was the most restless sleeper. That's it, bye-bye Anuki! It's good that you brought the beds. I was so tired! Now I sleep all by myself, I'll go to bed at nine and wake up for school at eight. And on Sundays, I sleep until 11:00. And it's warm and soft for me.

The main pusher is out of business!

There's been a great resettlement in the house, everyone now has their own bed.

Also, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers - very necessary things. Before, my and everyone's things were lying in cardboard boxes on the floor. Mom got them at the store for free. Firstly, all the clothes got tangled up in them. Secondly, it didn't look nice at all. Now it looks nice, right? And everyone takes care of their shelves.

In such a beautiful wardrobe, you don't just throw clothes around, you want to fold everything neatly.

Nini: Our Anuki is rich in bags, she could open a bag store!

Anuki now has a bunch of backpacks, enough to open a bag store! Look how cute the backpack with rhinestones looks on her!

 - Oh, how did that happen? I want to know!

Nini: Children from the 12th Public School in Poti came to us, 10 of them, and they gave us bags as gifts. And we recorded a video together.

Mari: They're not children, they're already in the 10th grade.

Nini: Then other uncles and aunties also gave bags as gifts.

- Anuki, what do those kids who used to bully you because of the plastic bag say now?

Anuki (6-year-old): They say: "What a beautiful and stylish bag!"

- Do you think we should listen to people?

Anuki: No need to. I was good before, even when I carried plastic bags.  And no one can bully me.

Mari: Now I only go to school in new and beautiful clothes. And the kids who used to bully me don't laugh anymore.   They play and make friends with me.

Mari takes short videos on her tablet and gets lots of likes.

Alla: Oh, your readers have been kind and good from the very beginning. They even liked us, poor as we are. That's what's important and touches the heart, that's what I explain to my daughters. They worried, took care of our fate, that's the gold in human relationships. Everywhere I look in the house, I see traces of this love and kindness.

Here are the new curtains, brought by people. Warm blankets. New dishes. Before, I cooked everything in one pot... A bed for Andria. We spent the winter in warmth. Thanks to the readers of the Fund for this timely gift of a gas heater! Andria brought a virus from kindergarten; how would I treat him with bronchitis in a cold house?!   Every time we go to our church with the children, I light a candle for your health, and the girls do too. Blessings to you and your loved ones, joy to your hearts!

New curtains - a gift from the readers.

Alla: "We've made it through the winter safely. While it's still chilly, I'll keep turning on the heater, so the kids don't freeze."

Elenka's quickest comforter is the new plasma TV. A colorful cartoon stops the tears in two minutes.

You have helped me sort out many issues, including reaching out to our authorities. You know how to write them letters, that's for sure. As a result, the social service provided us with a one-time voucher for groceries worth 300 lari.

- But that's not enough.

Alla: The municipality promises to replace the windows, doors, and wallpaper in this house in March. And you know what else? We've been added to the list of homeless people, and we're in line for housing. The municipality said they would give us an apartment in Batumi at the end of August or in September 2024.

- We'll find out everything in six months. We just want all promises to be fulfilled. Alla, how else can we help you?

Alla: Andria's bronchitis has become chronic, and I can see that I can't treat it with home remedies.  We need a doctor's examination and medications.  I ask for your help with this, my dear ones.

There is so much light and warmth in these little hearts right now! Without you, they would be lost in the dark abyss of poverty! To prevent that from happening, let's all watch over the Prokhorov family together and help them with food, medicine, clothing... Many of you have a genuine gift for caring and compassion. This gift can bring happiness to these amazing kids.

If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on Facebook, or better call any of our beneficiaries, and all your problems will seem unimportant to you, compared with the problems of those to whom you helped in the most difficult moment of their lives.
