REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!
Here is a “supermarket” of a handsome and good boy - Datuna! He is not the only one who supplies his mother and sisters with such “valuable” groceries and toys!
Is this really the future that awaits beautiful and kind Georgian children?

“The luckiest day of little Datuna” - he managed to pick up the bag earlier than the others and found white bread and Georgian shoti inside
“We will go to bed at seven o'clock in the evening,” - six-year-old Salome continues our conversation, - “because we are very hungry already.”
- Why so early?
Salome: Because we all are very-very hungry. And so, we will fall asleep and will wolf down this bread together! Our mom has four of us!
Datuna: “Don't touch it - this bread is for tomorrow,” - Datuna stops the stretching arms of her sisters.
Tomorrow, we will wolf it down when we wake up, unless the mice eat it at night!
Salome: “And mom will lie down with us," - the child continues, - “and we will switch off the light.” Bread is for tomorrow - we can’t eat it today. When I wake up in the morning, I'll wolf down it right away. What about you, ma’am, where do you hide bread from mice? We put it in a saucepan and put a stone on top. These shameless mice will come again tonight. They live under the floor and on our roof. Why do they come to poor children only? Let them go to the rich! I shout at them and stomp my feet, but they still steal bread and sugar from us, and they want to sleep in our bed. I sometimes tell them that they can’t take sugar and bread from little children, but they are also hungry...

Each of the four children of Zhuzhuna can break your heart and cause unbearable emotional pain in you. Three-year-old Sophia has been burning with fever for two weeks without taking medications. Nine-year-old Ana freezes to shivering from getting her feet wet in her holey shoes but she still smiles. The elder David was extremely happy with a few blank sheets of paper and a pen.
Classmates tease Salome - such a nice girl - with their ridicule. Just because she has only bread for breakfast.
And Zhuzhuna can make you feel emotional pain, even though she is a completely harmless person. She can - when you find out that they indifferently left her - a category two disabled person with mental retardation - alone with her four children.
Sopho is slack and sleepy because of fever
– Zhuzhuna, Sopho needs to see a doctor, the fever will not go away itself.
Zhuzhuna: Our doctor is God. He cured Datuna. Datuna's knee began to fester and swell, and I prayed so much that it gone. He helped me too – I often suffer from fever. And he will help Sopho too. The doctors won't help. They say: “Buy medication”. They tell me to do what I can't.
– You speak very quietly, almost a whisper, why?
Zhuzhuna: Because I start getting sick - I feel such a pain in my throat. I feel shivery. Ana, Sopho, and I sleep together in the same bed, and we all hug each other. There is no other bed. The little one infected me. When one child recovers - the other gets sick. Whoever coughs less and can leave the house looks after others. Salome will come from the teacher soon. I give the teacher 70 GEL from our social allowance for helping my daughter with her homework so that at least one of my children can do well in school.
- Why “at least one”? What about David and Ana?
Zhuzhuna:  They are mentally retarded, like me. Ana started to talk at the age of 6. Now, at the age of 9, she learned to read and write. They just transfer Ana and David from form to form, so they don't understand a lot of things. I don't understand either - even first-form books. I can’t help them with homework - my head does not work well. That’s why, I am category two disabled.
– Is it since childhood Zhuzhuna?
Zhuzhuna: I was healthy at first. But I remember my mother beat me a lot. She beat me with a stick on my head. That's probably why I am dumb. She also beat my sister, but her head works much better. She has... epilation.
– Maybe, you mean epilepsy?
Zhuzhuna: Well, this is when a person collapses and shakes.
Mom - Zhuzhuna - is a kind and harmless person. She is category two disabled! A naive and caring woman with four children is left to survive and suffer and she does not even know that the state is obliged to take care of her and her children!
- My God, why? Did you forgive your mom, do you communicate with her?
Zhuzhuna: I never got mad at her. I can't be angry with anyone. I never get in a very bad mood. Why are you crying? Mom sometimes gives me five lari for my children. When we were kids, my sister and I did not want to live in a boarding school, but our mom and dad always worked and could not take us home. They have been working for many years.
– Aren’t you angry with your husband either? He is no longer with you, right?
Zhuzhuna: He is not with us. I'm just a little offended, a little bit. He wanted to have many daughters - he was happy. We moved to this house together when I was pregnant. A girl was born too. Why did he leave? What didn't he like?
– Did he love you, did he say kind words to you?
Zhuzhuna: No, I have never heard such words in my life. (Smiles) He called me Zhuzhuna, that’s it. He bought many things for home. But he never took me to visit, he always went alone. And once he left for good alone. And we are here.
A closet full of mice costs 250 GEL per month
There are two tiny rooms with low ceiling. When gas and stove are on there is no air to breathe
Bedroom with old wallpaper and sick little angel Sopho
The children have blankets which look like old rags and sagging mattresses with greasy stains.
The cat saw the mouse
Dato finally decides to come up to me and asks me very shyly:
– Will you give me two sheets of paper? I can do a homework and write something.
– Sure, take it.
You would have cried all night long if you could see how happy he was! Zhuzhuna has no money for the simplest things: pens, pencils, notebooks. Half of the things in the house were brought from a junk yard: a Canadian flag, a broken coffee machine, a gas stove, a pink horse, a monkey... And often food too.
Datuna dreams of finding a bike in a garbage dump. He dreams that one day he will come, and there will be a beautiful bike, with a handlebar, a bell and unpunctured wheels.
But today someone threw away Christmas tree branches and tinsel.
Zhuzhuna: Children bring bread, which hangs on a garbage can in a plastic bag. You can eat it. I let them eat it, when it is not very dry, and not green (no mold - ed.). Or we eat what I bring from the canteen. From here, from there - they give us something. People know about us.
This morning the yellow duck and the watering can were in the garbage bin. Garbage toys collection.
They brought this gas stove from a junk yard. It leaks!
Salome (is back): The mice eat with us. Mom, give me matsoni soup quickly, before the mouse jumps into it.
(She eats quickly, standing on her feet. She is angry and is thinking about something.)
– Why are you so angry, Salo?
Salome: The kids at school laughed at my breakfast again today: “Come on, show it to us! Will you treat us?" They always have khachapuri, lobiani, pies, and I always bring bread. I won't bring the soup, can I? Mom has nothing else.
– How can they offend such a nice little girl, such a swallow?
Salome: All children will have a New Year, but we will not. No Christmas tree, no delicious sweets. No boots, no clothes. No bike. He won’t have food either. (Points to a cat.)
Zhuzhuna: Last year, the class raised money for Datuna to buy boots. But my girls have no footwear.
– How much money you get from the state?
Salome: Mom can’t count, she needs a calculator. (Looks for it on a phone and gives her) Here you are mom.
Zhuzhuna: Nine-ty. Wait. Nine-hundred - a social allowance. Disability pension - 105. Mother of many children - 200. And deduct 250 for rent. That’s what is left.  (Shows me figures on a calculator.)
Salome: And deduct my teacher too.
Zhuzhuna: I forgot about gas and light too. That’s it. (Shows me the calculator again.)
Salome:  There will be nothing: no clothes, no boots.
– What an angry little chick! Look, Ana knows that you will have it and she smiles. We have come to you for a reason.
Salome: Ana always smiles. She does not understand - that’s why. Datuna does not understand either and he smiles too. And I am sad because we have such bad and ugly home.
Ani smiles even when she is cold and hungry.
Zhuzhuna: It is the cheapest we managed to find. We used to live in Samgori, we rented room there too. We did not even have gas and light.
– Zhuzhuna, is just gas and light enough? Readers of our Fund can take care of you. We must literally save you.
Zhuzhuna: I can realize that we live bad. But what can I do? I owe at the marketplace and in groceries.  A need to give them their money back. My children need four bicycles, they would be so happy. One is not enough – they will sit all together and it will fall apart.
– Ask something for your home.
Zhuzhuna: Yes, a bunk bed for my girls.  They would not infect each other then. And a new gas stove that does not leak. This one leaks - you know? And a washing machine because one provided by our landlady got damaged.
Datuna (gently touches my shoulder): And a blue parrot.
Ana (giggles quietly): Toy dinnerware.
Salome: Good food so that other children don’t laugh at me.
One potato and a piece of yesterday's white bread left by some kind person at the garbage bin - that's this little girl's dinner
