Years ago, a vibrant 23-year-old woman named Roza was in a car accident. But it wasn’t just a typical accident! The car was thrown high into the air, and… it’s difficult even to finish this sentence. Roza, a beautiful, kind, and talented young woman, had her life shattered in an instant.

Roza Zakaraia was in that car. In one second, her life was turned upside down. She had dreamed of a family, of children. She was, and still is, an incredibly good and warm-hearted person.

Dear friends, if we don’t help Roza, her life will end in pain and unbearable suffering. She has already lost one kidney, and now tumors keep spreading throughout her body.

God is watching us. And through stories like Roza’s, He opens our hearts to compassion. We thank You, Lord, for giving Roza the strength to reach out to us for help. It is an honor to feel needed – not only by those who suffer but also by those who want to heal, pray, and act from the heart.

Today, Roza is 40 years old. But in her eyes, you can still see the spark of that 23-year-old girl she was before the tragedy. Years ago, doctors discovered a tumor on her kidney, and she underwent a complex surgery. They suspected it was a delayed consequence of the accident – but only God knows for sure. 

In 2023, the tumor returned – this time in a far more aggressive form. Doctors were unable to save her kidney.

It feels as if the Zakaraia family has been cursed. And then, in 2024, the cruel disease struck again—this time in her knee.
From that moment, Roza began living through a double nightmare.

Today, she can no longer walk. She sits by the window, looking up at the blue sky, at the sun… In her mind, she’s walking along the seaside. But only in her mind. Only in dreams. Oh Lord, how this poor woman suffers. There is hope. Roza’s pain can be stopped. She needs a knee replacement surgery, with an implant that costs 50,000 GEL. Where could she possibly find that kind of money?..

Roza’s elderly mother tends to the flowers in her garden – with all her heart. This kind woman nurtures them like they were her own children. Then she sells them. And it feels as though with every flower she parts with, she gives away a piece of her heart. But what choice does she have? Such is the harsh reality.

Just look at the sorrow and kindness in this woman’s eyes.

Time seems to have stood still for Roza since she was 23. She never married. She has no children. Before the tragedy, she used to dream of a home filled with laughter, of being woken up each morning by children’s voices shouting: “Mommy! Mommy!” 

And you know what’s most astonishing? Through it all, Roza has never once blamed God. On the contrary – she thanks Him for every morning, for every new day. Imagine what a big heart she has…
