Maka: “LORD, IT’S SO TERRIBLE AND UNFAIR that I’ll never wear a beautiful wedding dress! I’ll ask my family to put it in the cold grave with me. The cancer has already spread to my brain. If people won’t see me as a beautiful bride, then at least let God see me happy. Because I’ve never been happy in my life… Please, please, Lord!”

“When you were twenty-four, what did you dream about?” Maka asked the journalist quietly, lowering her eyes. For a moment, the room fell silent…

“Probably, like all girls my age, I once dreamed of getting married, having children, building a career… just being happy,” she said softly, barely holding back tears.

Maka: “And now the only thing I want is to live. I want this pain to go away. I just want to live…”

Friends, these are not words of complaint. They are the whisper of someone who learned too early what life is really worth.

It all began in 2021, when Maka noticed a small growth on her palate. At first, no one thought it was serious. But the biopsy shattered the family’s peace: malignant tumor – stage II cancer.

The family sold everything they could and took Maka to Turkey. There, she underwent a complex surgery that gave her life, but not health. Sadly, the disease came back.

Now Maka has a tumor in her liver and another growth in her rectum. She needs stomach biopsy and a full examination to understand how to stop the process. Friends, it’s still not too late to help Maka!

But the family has no money for treatment. And time is running out…

“I know there are so many children in the world who need help. Compared to them, I feel embarrassed to ask for myself. But believe me – we have nothing left. So I’m hoping for kind people. I’m hoping for kindness… God, how much I want to live… so much…” Maka said, before she could no longer continue the interview – tears filled her throat.

Maka’s mother, Eka Dolidze, lives in constant fear. She smiles when she’s near her daughter, jokes, and tries to lift her spirits – but at night she goes outside to cry in the dark.

“I can’t let her see my tears. She must believe that everything will be okay,” Eka says.

There are no conversations about the future in their home – only about medicine, travel, and how to find money for the next examination.

Even the walls of their dim room seem soaked with the fear of death. The hands of the old clock on the wall never stop moving. Time goes on… death draws closer…

Pain is not a guest in this family – it’s a constant resident. Maka’s 17-year-old brother survived a tumor in infancy, and later a severe car accident that left him unable to speak for a long time.

Her father, Giorgi, suffers from a spinal injury and urgently needs expensive surgery.

Look into his eyes – this seriously ill man is also just one step away from death. But he doesn’t cry, doesn’t complain. The fear of losing his beloved daughter has made him forget that his own life is in danger if he doesn’t get the surgery.

The family’s only income is 200 lari in social allowance.
They have no refrigerator. No TV. Neighbors and church parishioners bring them food.

This family isn’t asking for miracles – they just want help for Maka to undergo a biopsy in Turkey. It’s not a luxury. It’s her only chance to live.

When you look at Maka, it’s impossible to believe that this gentle, bright young woman fights unbearable pain every day. She doesn’t complain. She doesn’t get angry. She just says quietly: “Because of the disease, I couldn’t continue my studies after school. I really want to go to university. If all this ends, if I survive, I’ll definitely go back to studying, learn many foreign languages – and maybe one day I’ll teach little children myself.”

Friends, God has given us another chance to save a person – a humble, kind Georgian girl! Give her hope!
