Instead of a Christmas tree – dirty gravel dumped into their yard. Instead of gifts, laughter, and joy – disrespect and contempt from local officials, as if these people were outcasts. Instead of a New Year’s cake – a piece of stale bread.

Tears rolling down the cheeks of three-year-old Mariam froze into ice. I have never seen such horror – not even in movies.
Look at these cheeks burned red by the cold, this frozen nose, these tear-filled eyes. Look closely.
This little girl is three-year-old Mariam, and she lives just 50 kilometers from Tbilisi. Do you know why her sweet cheeks are so badly frostbitten?
Not because she was playing outside with other children – no. But because her home is just as cold as outdoors.
And when I say “home,” that may be too generous a word – it is only two rooms. Just two.
Look carefully at these walls: icy drafts blow in from every corner.
Three-year-old Mariam and her beloved brother Jemal wear jackets both outside and inside, because they have nothing else to keep them warm.
This is their mother – 42-year-old Medea. She is a single mother. For nearly three years now, Medea has been living with diabetes and depends on insulin.
She does everything she can for her children, but carrying this endless burden alone is incredibly hard.
The children’s father takes no part in their lives and provides no help at all. How is that even possible? Even animals don’t abandon their young ones. Please, look at these beautiful children. Look at their faces. How can anyone turn away from them? One look into their eyes is enough to see how deeply they long for a father’s warmth and embrace.
The total monthly income for Medea and her children is 400 lari. Friends, this is beyond belief. Every Georgian knows that it is impossible to support even one person on that amount – let alone raise two children or buy basic food.
“I can endure hunger and cold,” says Medea, “but I cannot bear watching my children’s tears freeze from the cold. I beg you – please help, so my children no longer have to freeze.”
Look – they don’t even have toys. In the yard, they play among gravel scattered by neighbors. These little ones do not deserve such hardship.
To survive this harsh winter, this family needs the most basic things: food, a gas stove, a refrigerator, and a television – so the children can at least watch cartoons.
Cheeks reddened by frost. Eyes watering from the cold.
Can we really not help two little angels? Just look into their eyes – so sincere, so sad. Only a few days remain until the New Year. Can we not offer this family even the smallest help?
God has brought them to us – and we must take this opportunity to help, and in doing so, draw closer to Him.
Let us make sure that at the festive table of 2026, we will have something to say – something that will fill all our friends with joy at your kindness. Let us help these children, and may this year become the happiest and brightest of their lives. And happiness and fulfilled wishes to you too, my friend. This is your year as well. God sees everything.
If you are willing to visit them and help them in person, here is her address: Sagarejo, 3 Alazani Str

A MONTH AGO, SNOW WAS AN ENEMY – TODAY IT HAS BECOME A BEAUTIFUL WINTER FAIRY TALE FOR TWO LITTLE ONES, THANKS TO YOUR CARE!
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO GOD!
YOU HELPED – THANK YOU!
Hurry! Tiny feet are pattering down the wooden stairs. Jeko and Mari are running out to play in the snow and throw snowballs. A month ago, this snow was an enemy. Not joy, but a frightening fairy tale for two little children and their mother, who living in a house that’s barely fit to live in – bare walls, no electricity, no water, no proper clothing or shoes, no appliances, no furniture.

But now, thanks to you, the children’s feet are warm in sturdy winter boots, they are wearing down jackets, and meeting the snow is pure joy and happiness.
Mari: “Good snow – I’m not afraid of you anymore!”
And right before their amazed eyes, miracles begin to happen. A craftsman is putting in new windows, while a brand-new bed is being set up for the children. A television is carried up the stairs, and bags of food, clothes, and toys keep arriving.
Blessed be everyone who wished and worked to give these children a little comfort – a new refrigerator, a gas stove, a room heater.

Blessed be those thanks to whom, in a house with peeling walls, little Mari put on an airy tulle dress and joyfully said:
“I’m a princess!”

For the moment when, hugging boxes of cereal tightly, she exclaimed:
“I will eat — a lot, a lot!”

Once the children received what every child needs for a normal life, they began to think and speak with dignity.

This house, dear friends, still needs repairs – so that both the children and their mother Medea, who suffers from diabetes, can live with dignity.
They need: Water in the house – so Mari can wash her face like a real lady.
Safe electricity – new wiring instead of a fire hazard.
Care for their mother’s health – a blood pressure monitor and a glucose meter for Medea.
A wardrobe – so order can become a habit.
Become part of this transformation. Your donation is light, water, and health in a home where hope has finally taken root.
Friends, there is no such thing as someone else’s pain.
