Irma is 47. She has three children. Today, this unfortunate woman has stage 4 cancer of the pancreas and liver.

Four months ago, she suddenly began to feel pain in her back. She thought it was a hernia. But when she went to get checked, she heard a devastating verdict from the doctors: “You have one month left. “Go home to your children, stay with God, and don’t waste a single second. Kiss them for as many moments as God has given you to live.”

But Irma is still with us. Great is the Almighty Lord! Five months have already passed – not one – since that merciless verdict.

She is still here. And perhaps it is because through such tragedies, God tests our hearts.

The girls have not yet learned how to ask people for help, but they pray to Almighty God to give their loving mother as many days and nights as the kisses she has given them.

Irma has lost 22 kilograms. Sometimes she can’t even drink water. To save money on taxis, she traveled to chemotherapy by minibus and metro while enduring terrible pain.

Irma has gone through 12 rounds of chemotherapy, driven by a strength of will even doctors did not expect.

Now IRMA needs to continue treatment abroad: she must undergo a CT scan of her internal organs and assess the progression of the tumor to understand if there is still a chance.

But the family has no money left. Everything has been sold. Crushing poverty has settled in the home of these unfortunate people.

Irma is not asking for the impossible. She is asking for a chance – for the One who gave her life to hear her prayers in time. Her faith is so strong that even speaking about death is forbidden in their home. Because only the Almighty knows what will happen to each of us in the next second. And through such painful stories, He tests our hearts -to welcome into His family those who believe not just in words, but through their actions and sincere prayers.
