What is the way they see the world, those,
whose eyes are always “closed”? Beneficiary of our Fund, 53-year old
Kobalia Diana was born blind. Once she moved to Tbilisi due to conditions
beyond her control she is totally lonely!

Just imagine how difficult it is to take care
of yourself and to keep your tiny room absolutely tidy, to go shopping…

If you are a truly kind person having the
special gift of feeling other people’s sorrow you would surely imagine the
horror and despair of the situation of this poor woman!

Now the only Diana’s guests are the employees
of our Fund who help the poor woman to take care of her hygiene, bring her food
and medicines. Nurses from the Fund become native to her.

Yes, we take every effort to help her but she
needs your assistance as well. We will be able to alleviate her condition only
by joint efforts. We will never help her see again, but our attention, sympathy
and kindness will be seen by her heart!

The only thing Diana is dreaming of is a
pulsometer for the blind, as she needs to keep track of her blood pressure and
she would rather not disturb her neighbors every time.

Disability pension and social allowance hardly
suffice for bread, and she only dreams of purchasing this vitally important
thing.
