The clock is ticking, counting down the days and hours separating him from certain death—unless help arrives in time. Valeri is battling stage four cancer—Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He’s endured 25 rounds of chemotherapy, but after surgery, his condition drastically worsened. In just one month, cancer has almost consumed Valeri. At 45 years old, he now weighs only 43 kilograms.  The illness has changed him beyond recognition.

Forty-nine-year-old Guram, a father of two, has been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis. His stomach is entirely filled with fluid, and the poor man can’t even move in bed, let alone stand or walk. Tears of life’s injustice fill the eyes of the man who was discharged from the clinic due to a lack of money. But he tries to hide them from his children. Ten-year-old Nikoloz and thirteen-year-old Andria stand by their father’s bedside, gently caressing him with their little hands. The poor children don’t know how to ease their father’s excruciating pain. Look at this poor man’s tears. He can no longer endure the pain, the dreadful disease, and, most of all, life’s injustice. The poor father simply cannot endure it any longer. Guram urgently needs a liver transplant; otherwise, the children… Oh God, how hard it is to say these words. Yes… Otherwise, these little angels will become orphans.

Mirian was 35 years old when, on that fateful evening, a car struck him as he stood on the sidewalk. The driver lost control, and the blood of an innocent young man was spilled. Mirian suffered injuries that were deemed incompatible with life. His head injuries were so severe that doctors gave him less than a one percent chance of survival. He had multiple skull fractures, and you can probably imagine what that means. Mirian spent three months in a coma. The first surgery was performed in Moscow, but his condition only worsened afterward. Following the unsuccessful surgery, Mirian was transported to Georgia by a mobile resuscitation vehicle. In total, the poor young man underwent four brain surgeries. And throughout all this time, he felt nothing, perceived nothing, and was barely distinguishable from the dead—except that he was breathing. But Mirian’s heroic mother refused to give up. This poor woman achieved the impossible for her son. Indeed, after the fourth brain surgery, with God’s help, Mirian emerged from his critical condition, and for the first time, he had a real chance of survival.

Raul was only 20 days old when a high fever caused him to have severe seizures. There was no doctor in the village, and by the time they got him to the district center he got paralyzed. The devastating diagnosis was cerebral palsy (CP). His parents were shocked – they hadn’t yet recovered from a horrific tragedy: their firstborn daughter, just 1 year and 8 months old, had died of diphtheria. Imagine how hard it was for them to accept their son’s condition! For 26 years, Raul has lived with constant pain. His left leg is so twisted it can’t be straightened. Raul’s spine is severely curved, which has deformed his internal organs. Even breathing is painful for him. He cannot go without painkillers and sedatives. He’s been in a wheelchair since childhood. It has replaced his legs, as he cannot take even a few steps on his own.

A mother of three children is being eaten alive by a malignant tumor that is spreading throughout the body at a terrifying speed! Do you know what this means? Insidious bone cancer is capturing all healthy organs one by one: the mammary gland, the thyroid gland, the spine. Friends, God gives us one chance to save a life, but we need to act right now! The young woman needs a course of expensive chemotherapy in Turkey. The cost of one procedure is about five thousand dollars. In order to get back on her feet, Natela needs to pay for three of these procedures and, most importantly, endure them.
