We are so happy that our videos and posts have an immediate reaction! Gio Sisauri from a large family dreamed of a birthday with a cake and guests. This post deeply touched his wonderful teacher Ani Buzaladze, and she immediately gathered Gio’s classmates. On his birthday, the unsuspecting Gio was surprised by his entire class with hugs and gifts! We are moved by Ani’s actions and thank her from the bottom of our hearts. Similarly, with tears of joy, we thank all the friends of the Fund who have significantly helped the Sisauri family in such a short period of time.

0901200270Angels in a deep, damp underground just 100 kilometers from Tbilisi! These children – the future of Georgia – are forced to share their blood with horrible, blood-sucking insects and their food with large, dangerous black and gray rats.
Their fate is our responsibility before God
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!
Here is the dwelling of these unfortunate people! You could say it has no doors or windows… The large stones that make up the basement of their semi-ruined two-story house, built by their ancestors over 100 years ago, are soaked with the tears of these unfortunate people. Thank them! Truly, thank them! They would never have allowed such disgrace and mistreatment of a Georgian family with many children. And shame on the officials who eat well and sleep soundly, those shameless subhumans who know about this situation but remain indifferent to it!
Sit back, friends, you’re about to take a tour of the house of horrors…
This is the kitchen—on this stove on the windowsill, the mother prepares meals when there are groceries at home.
This is the children’s room. The boys sleep on one broken bed, the eldest daughter and the mother sleep on another broken bed, and the sweet little two-year-old Ani sleeps in a makeshift bed with falling boards.
Maia (mom): Our floor is just bare earth. We don’t have the money to cover it with anything. No windows, no doors, no furniture… All our clothes and dishes are lying right on the ground.
I am still grateful to the local authorities! They say they help as much as they can, but I ask you to convey our situation to other officials in Georgia. Look at how we live and show everyone who is responsible by law for taking care of large families!
Maia: “Here is the room and the bed where my husband, the children’s father, sleeps. I sleep with the children. Just in case! I protect them from the rats! My husband works around the clock in agriculture, loves us, and never criticizes the authorities. He is a good man! “I’m worried, I don’t want anything bad to happen to him!”
The family has no furniture, so all their belongings – dishes and clothes – are spread out on every surface.
There are such big holes in the ceiling that rats can easily crawl through them.
And this is the toilet for six people. Large rats love to crawl in there and then come into our semblance of a home to hide from the summer heat and winter cold.
These are the entrance doors. In winter, they hang a blanket over them. In summer, they remove the blanket, and the rooms fill with flies.
Mother Maia, Ani, Mari, Tariel, Giorgi, and father Malkhaz are happy and smiling… But this happens in another reality, only in the fairy-tale world of 10-year-old Mari.
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS FIND THE WAY TO GOD!
This is the story that the Lord has entrusted to our compassionate souls! What more can we write, what more can we say? You have seen everything for yourselves.
If you are willing to visit this close-knit family and help them in person, here is their address: Akhmeta Municipality, village of Akhshani. But don’t forget about the blood-sucking insects. God forbid you bring them home!
This is the kind of letter we write to deputies and the Public Defender in Georgia. There are those who help…
Letter to the People’s Defender
There are those who are not indifferent, and then there are those who disregard such matters! They don’t care! The Public Defender always responds but can do little! Here money and control over its use are needed! Only together, without any exaggeration, can we accomplish this, beloved by our Lord! God bless you!

Gio: “Since you filmed us, great things have been happening!”
Previously, they used a wardrobe to cover a broken window and lived in complete darkness.
Now, their home is unrecognizable: new windows, furniture, and lots of light!
– Gio, now Ani and your classmates have become friends of the Chernovetskyi Fund! Did your birthday dream come true? Tell us everything!
Gio: My class came to me on its own, you know? Mom said: “Gio, go take a look, someone is calling you from the yard.” I went out and was in shock! There were ten kids from my class and Ani-mas! I hugged them all, and they hugged me. I was even more excited to see them than the gifts. It means they love me. The gifts were awesome too: a soccer ball, toy cars, a robot that I wanted. They also brought a strawberry cake and sausages. We had a delicious meal in our yard, played ball, danced, and took lots of photos. It’s really good that you filmed the video, so everyone learned about my birthday. Before, no one knew.
– Gio, what else happened after we filmed your family?
Gio: All the good things happened! I got a bike with gears and brakes, black and red. I also got my own phone, so I will have my own number and start making calls.
Gio: “Help me a little, I will remember how to ride.”
“Then I’ll ride by myself. I’ll show myself off to all of Akhshani.”
– Who will you call first?
Gio: Luka Ketelauri, my close friend. If you call me, I’ll call you back too. Are you hot right now?
– Well, yes, it’s hot.
Gio: Do you want me to spray you with a water gun? It was given to Tariel, but we take turns shooting it. Should I spray you or not?
– Not right now.
Gio: We also got new beds. I love to sleep. Oh, how I will sleep well on my bed! Look around if you can find our old stove. (Smiles)
There’s nothing on the window anymore.
Gio: Will you keep looking or give up? Better give up. You won’t find it because we threw it away. Guess what was the first thing cooked on the new stove? A hint: it takes three minutes to cook (smiles).
– Oatmeal?
Gio: No. Mom made coffee and said: “Finally, I deserve such joy.” Before, she didn’t have coffee or a stove. It turns out she wanted to…
Gio: “Don’t look for the old stove; it’s already at the dump.”
Maia (Mom): Oh, thank you so much! (Laughs). Such a great pleasure! Last time, there was nowhere to seat you; we didn’t even have one chair in the house. I was upset. Please, sit down. Do you like our new table and chairs?
– I like them very, very much!
Maia: “For ten years I lived without a refrigerator, and suddenly I have everything at once: a stove, a refrigerator, an electric meat grinder! Now I can really manage the household.”
Maia: For ten years in this house, I lived without a refrigerator. This is our first fridge, and it brings us happiness!
Gio: And everything inside it is also for happiness, right, Mom? You know, Mom doesn’t make me eat potatoes anymore. There are other interesting things: chicken, sausages, and sour cream. When I eat, I immediately become happy and joyful. Mom hasn’t shown you all the happy things yet.
Gio: “Mari is shy; she rejoices quietly. ” Look how she hugs the tablet!
Gio: “They are bringing us a TV for happiness!!!”
“And a dresser for happiness…”
– Show me, aren’t you the master of your house?
Gio: Okay. They put windows everywhere, plastic ones, which is good. And the door too. There will be fewer annoying flies, midges, and cockroaches. Before, anyone could fly in. And it won’t be drafty in the house. I hate being cold.
Gio: “While we didn’t have windows, all sorts of things flew in! Thank you for saving us from flies, cockroaches and wind.”
Gio: “The doors are strong, like in a fortress!”
– Gio, did the friends of the Fund visit you?
Gio: The happiness givers? Yes, of course!
– What did you say? What a nice word!
Maia: He probably made it up out of excitement. My children are very happy. A girl from Akhmeta came with groceries, she brought a lot, and didn’t forget the watermelon. A girl from Tbilisi brought toys and a scooter for Gio. A young man brought clothes for my little one. I feel great respect, sympathy, and love for all our new friends.
Gio: They do everything they promise. How cool they are!
Maia: A huge thank you from a mother of many children who now has furniture, kitchen appliances, windows, and doors in her house! Wishing you a long and prosperous life, good health, and great happiness!
– What problems remain? What should we focus on?
Gio: Pay attention to this hole in the ceiling, please. So that it doesn’t leak, and nothing can get in. Are you finishing your interview now?
– Pretty much, yes.
Gio: Wait, don’t turn off the recorder! Record this loudly: “Thank you! Thank you!”
Gio is the liveliest of the Sisauri children, but Mari, Tariel, and Ani are also very happy! It’s amazing that the number of happiness-givers from the Fund is increasing, and we can share more and more good news! We invite you to become co-authors and participants in another future news story about the repaired roof of the Sisauri family home. Thank you for everything, friends!
If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on Facebook, or better call any of our beneficiaries, and all your problems will seem unimportant to you, compared with the problems of those to whom you helped in the most difficult moment of their lives.
