We want to live like your children! Even if not as good as yours... But...We would like to...

"We want to live just as other children do, so that the smell of delicious food would come out of our house..."
"When I go home from school, I stops near the houses where it smells food... and imagine that mom cooks,"
Remember, friends, what you fed your children today with? Are dairy products and meat a part of their daily diet? And fruit? And maybe even sweets if they behaved well?! And right you are! Children must be loved. Children are angels on earth.
And you know what these kids eat every day? Stale bread! Tough, huh?! Maybe there are no such children in Georgia? So here they are. In front of you!
The dilapidated building where these angels live is like a fairy-tale witch's hut. There's not even water and a toilet! Peeling walls and old furniture!
We wonder how these kids can be kind, how their mother manages to educate them all those qualities that are so lacking in the 21st century kids – love, compassion, courtesy, pity...
How else could we call the situation when these children picked up a small hungry puppy from the street and shared their bread with it? Angels are always kind...!
They called it "Bun". It's so soft, fluffy and delicious – children say. "And as small as our Manana"

We talked to Liya Koberidze, the mother of four children.
 – Liya, how do you manage raising your children like that?
Liya Koberidze: It is not so difficult if there is love and God in the family! It is hard, but I manage. Nikoloz is 11 years old, Georgiy is 10, Natia is 9, Manana is only 4 months old. Older children support me very much and help me with Manana. They're so smart! I thank God for each of them! My husband and I wanted a lot of children! But he died of a heart attack, he was very worried that he could not find a job and he could not give the children what they basically needed. His heart did not survive it! After his death, I decided to return to my native village with the kids. I have nothing of my own, I live in this abandoned building.

– But is it possible to live here?
Liya Koberidze: Yes, the conditions here are catastrophic. A swallow nest is stronger than this building; everything falls apart here, the walls are collapsing. The toilet is in the yard and there is no water at home... I do not even want to tell you how I bathe the children... I feel very ashamed. I feel guilty for them! Social allowance is our only income. I spend all my money on food. Or rather on bread and pasta. My children do not know the taste of ice cream; they look how other children eat and so saying that they don't want it so that I do not worry...

–And have you ever regretted that gave birth to so many children? After all, some evil people do not approve of large families who live in difficult conditions?
Liya Koberidze: I don't think that's Christian! How can a woman deny having children? We are Georgians, a small nation, if all mothers decide not to have more than one child, we will soon die out! We will just disappear!
– Would you like to address the Deputy? Can we help you with that?
Liya Koberidze: We don't have water and a bathroom in the building. Ask, please, the Deputy that he helps us with the solution of this question.

–What does the mother of these wonderful children dream of?
Liya Koberidze: I dream that my children grow up healthy. I also want my children to prove everyone that the most important thing in life is to be born and to have support from the Almighty, and the rest will come!
Now let us talk to the children.
–Nikoloz, how old are you and what do you dream about?
Nikoloz: I'm 11 years old, I'm in 5th grade. I dream of a bicycle. I want to ride it around the world. After all, a bike does not harm the environment! I would like to take care of the environment!
– What subject is your favorite?
Nikoloz: Natural Study. I love nature.
Georgiy: I am 10 years old and I dream to have a telephone. I feel bad that everyone in the class has a phone and I don't. But that's not the most important thing.
Natia: I'm 9 years old, I'm in third grade and I dream of a tablet. Yes, it's my biggest dream... and a beautiful dress and shoes... and a delicious cake (but then Natiya was interrupted by her elder brother "It is bad to ask so much," he said)

What have these children done wrong? Why in the 21st century they have to starve and dream about a piece of bread?
Friends, who are we waiting for? Here is a story, a real story, not a made-up fairy tale! You have read it and now it is your business how you act. Go and buy yourself a refreshing drink, or help these kids! After all, we always have a choice!

“Children are angels on earth. And their birth is God's holding! He sends them to the Earth to see who of the people is worthy of his care and help, who has soul and compassion! Children are always happy and regardless of whether they have a lot or little food and clothing. They only need the love of mom and dad, as well as our love...! Everything else is from the evil" (Leonid Chernovetskiy)
