These words belong to a 54-year-old woman who is at the age that is sometimes called the prime of life. But Eliso became related to death... When you bury half of your family at once - father, mother, brother, sister, nephew - your life is not at all important. Eliso's heart was crushed with grief, but her misfortunes did not stop. They continue to this day.

Grandma Nanuli left with a light heart. She blesses you from heaven
We wish you a sweet old age for your kindness!
How happy grandmother Nanuli was when Eliso gave her your gifts - sweets and fruits. In her last days, they were the most desired. Her dull eyes got warm, tears appeared in them, and her lips whispered words of gratitude. It’s a great blessing when you give to a suffering person things that he needs the most, when you give it to him while he is alive, when you have time to give love. Grandma Nanuli left us this spring. Thank you for the last months, thanks to you, she lived without worries and torments.
“She blesses you from heaven, - Eliso says with the tears in her eyes. - We were under so much pressure of poverty and misfortunes. We were under pressure for so long. Until you came and pushed that heavy burden away. Once a man is left alone in front of hunger, pain, when he is homeless and powerless - he has no hope. But you will be surprised how he will change if you give him just a little bit love, and you will be amazed at how grateful he is.
Here is our family. We are happy with one call, one bread that a kind person will give us. Suddenly it turned out that there were many of them, and there were many gifts. I have great hope in you and in the Lord. My gratitude to you has no bounds!
“Grandma didn’t have the strength to speak, but she smiled, she felt that her family was well”
- Mrs. Eliso, the entire Georgia learned about your misfortune. How did your life change after we have published an article about you?
Eliso: The Fund did everything to help us. God bless all the kind people who took our misfortune to heart.
You set such a rich table for the Chelidze family!
We felt a lot of love and warmth from people after the post was published. They came to visit us, to help us. We have got comprehensive support. One kind person called us immediately after the publication and was the first to write in the comments about his willing to visit us. God, he was so happy because we were happy! He treated us very warmly, brought us a lot of groceries. Then they came to visit us with gifts from Kakheti. They brought us food and medications. They did it so cordially, with such care.
Thanks to you and the Lord, many problems got resolved suddenly. We did not have bed linen for many years.  We used bedspreads instead. After the publication of the post, another blessed person came and brought us linen, and also medications. They brought us fruits and many other things that were inaccessible to us, which we could not afford for many years.  God bless you!
Your post snapped out our old acquaintances. They read your article, then called us and expressed their will to help us. All those people who supported us in any way are valuable to me. It's quite an event nowadays when someone shares their last crust with somebody. It’s your merit!!!
You made my poor mother-in-law happy. She did not leave this life being deprived and offended. Her last days were brightened up by simple joys. She wanted these sweets and fruits like a child. It is a good deed to give an old man what he craves for. She is in a better world now... She smiled silently and blesses us from heaven. (Wipes her tears.)
She was very happy. She kept whispering blessings when people came to visit us. She had no strength for more. Perhaps she no longer understood the direct meaning of all the things that they gave us, but she still felt love and attention.
- I am so sorry that granny is not with us anymore. Reader’s attitude towards her was very touching. Everyone willed to give her warmth and care.
Eliso: You managed to do that, my dear ones. Thank you! God sees everything! It's hard for my husband and me to get used to that. It happened in spring... We saw how much you can support.
Koba: Thank you for taking care of our family, for treating my mother with so much love and attention. I have great respect for your Fund for its work and worthy deeds. You make the hard life of the poor people of our country easier. You have great authority - many people believe in you. I knew that good people would appear at our gates.
Thank you for making such a video story about us, showing how we live. My poor mother is still alive there (on the video), she also talked... You did a great job.
- What do you think about your current living conditions?
Eliso: They got much better. In addition to medications, food, and clothing, we also got home appliances thanks to your Fund. These gifts were very important to me personally. You gave us a refrigerator, which is no longer a luxury item for any family, but a necessary thing. We are just getting to know the life of ordinary people. Finally, we can drink cold water in summer. Finally, food earned with such efforts will not spoil!
I could no longer wash clothes with hands. I have no strength left to do this work in cold water. I couldn't even warm the water for every wash. We received a washing machine from you so timely! You also gave us a bread-maker. If I have flour, I’ll be able to bake bread myself, and it will reduce our expenses.

- You are registered in Chiatura but live in Tbilisi. After the publication of the post, the local authorities should have learned about your misfortune. Did anyone respond?
Eliso: Neither town hall, nor local authorities bothered themselves. Neither here, nor there. There was only one episode. I know one girl at Chiatura City Hall. She wrote an application on my behalf and helped to get an ad-hoc aid of 200 GEL. That's it. No one from the local authorities got interested in our fate. I can't believe the authorities didn't know anything about us. Such a large and serious Fund wrote about us.
Of course, they heard, of course they know - both in Tbilisi and in Chiatura. But they do not take someone else's pain to heart. One thing is encouraging: this post will catch the eye of the authorities many more times. You won't delete it. Let it be an eyesore to them and make them think about things that they want to forget.
- I see it worries you that the authorities keep being indifferent. But good people do not forget you. They came to you and, hopefully, they will keep helping you. What this support means to you?
Eliso: What was our life like without your help and participation? What good have we seen? I was tired of tears and worries, I had nothing to cling to for surviving. We used to live in despair and darkness. I had neither medications nor food. It would have continued like this if I hadn't written to you.
They brought me so many clothes that I will probably have enough of them for the rest of my life. Someone helped us to pay utility bills, someone brought us food and medications. Dozens of people called us. People supported us with whatever they could, and they still support us. I am very grateful to your Fund for uniting these wonderful people for us.
They need both food and medications
– Mrs. Eliso, what other problems would you like to share with the friends of the Fund? What worries you? How can we help you?
Eliso: I know that very kind people are involved in your projects. Others would not help. So I'll take a chance and say. You are already familiar with our situation. You know what a difficult situation we have because of our illnesses, bad luck, and poverty. We need medications, we depend on rent, and we need food. I dream about a tiny house. None of the deceased members of our family were carried out of their own home. It's hard to talk about it, but that's exactly how we laid to rest my mother-in-law... I fear that the same fate awaits me, unless a man of God appears in my path. I pray for a miracle to happen. I dream of a small hut that will be called our home. I grieve and dream of home every day. Miracles sometimes happen. There are still kind people among Georgians who share the pain of others and treat others with compassion.
I think good people, who saw the post and will see it in the future, will not be able to remain indifferent. The Chelidze family lives in dire need, they don’t have their own house and worry a lot because of that; both Eliso and her husband suffer from life-threatening illnesses... It’s impossible not to take to heart their misfortune and experiences.
How not to show our mercy? They really need your active support. It’s misery! You have a chance to demonstrate your empathy. You have a chance to do a good deed. This is the greatest privilege and the highest happiness - to change the life of another person.
If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on Facebook, or better call any of our beneficiaries, and all your problems will seem unimportant to you, compared with the problems of those to whom you opened your kind heart and helped in the most difficult moment of their lives.
Our problems are noting if compared... Here are true misfortunes, in front of your eyes! Just thank the Lord for what you have. You are the happiest person in the world! Remember this and help those in need.
Unfortunately, problems of this and other families do not end here and now... Therefore, from time to time, look through the stories of unhappy people on our website, talk to them. Every time you dial the Phone of an unhappy person, God is blessing you! For sure! Go on helping these families! This is the best service to the Lord!
