The green plane, delicious candy, and the costume of Spider-Man - do not exist in reality, even the dragon lives in the kid's imagination. But he can be blamed for all the troubles. There is no bread - it’s because the dragon took it away, the only shoes got torn - the evil dragon, probably, chewed them when they slept. A chair got broken - that terrible dragon broke the only chair. What else to do? How to explain to five-year-old Saba and four-year-old David that they have nothing, while other children have? Will they understand? So, you have to think up an evil dragon.

“Close your eyes, sleep, or the dragon will take you away, will chew you and spit you out, as he did with my shoes!”

- Nino, what's going on here? Why do kids scare me with dragons?

Nino: They are so funny. They love when people come to visit us. But people rarely come. We live like hermits. My husband is currently in jail for theft. I don’t justify him, but people take such desperate actions only in crying need. When children cry of hunger without ceasing, for several days, you’ll do even worse things. Let's not talk about it. I do not talk about their dad in front of children. We thought up the dragon.

- Well, it’s up to you, I will not insist. Tell me about your life, what do you live on?

  Nino: Our only income is the social allowance. I get 380 GEL. I also go to the social canteen. I bring soups and bread from there. My children do not really like the taste, but when there is nothing else to eat, you have to eat that. We crumble plenty of bread there and so we eat, telling fairy tales about the dragon.

“Sometimes they give chicken with feathers - unplucked. So, I'm telling you about this and I'm afraid, that maybe someone will read it and say:
 "If you don't want it, don't take it."
But if we lose this, we will really starve.”

“I won’t share. I'm hungry! I’ll finish my brother’s porridge too.”

- No one can take away what is rightfully yours!

  Nino: Only my children belong to me. I will do anything, I will endure everything for their sake, I only want them to feel good. And they haven't felt good for a long time.

“We need a lot of toys and a lot of delicious sweets to feel good”

- How did you imagine your life when you just started a family?

Nino: I couldn't have imagined this even in my worst nightmare. You know, girls dream a lot and cannot assess the situation adequately. At the age of 19, it seemed to me that I had found my prince, and everything would be like in a fairy tale. But the fairy tale somehow went wrong. I want to tell all girls to think well before making such a serious decision as starting a family! Is this exactly what you dream of? Be sure to study! You must have a profession. And well, a single woman is very unhappy.

  Saba (5-year-old): I am very unhappy too.

- Why are you unhappy?

Saba: What do you mean why? I don't have a green plane! Do you have it? No? So, you're unhappy too!

  - Well and what besides a green plane, would make you happy?

  Saba: Well, maybe a lot of fruit. Just to cover the entire bed with them - and I'll lie down there! “Fruits!!! I love you so much!” - that’s what I will tell them.

  David (4-year-old): And mommy is a good girl! She loves to hug me, and Saba doesn't. He crushes me.

- And who of you is the most obedient?

  David: Mom! But she does not listen when I ask her to buy sweets and fruits. She says that the dragon steals money from us as well! Damn! I'll catch and kill him!

– Nino, what is the first thing you need we can help you with?

Nino: Foodstuffs! It's the only thing I can think of right now. Children do not like food from the canteen. I force them to eat it when there is nothing else to eat. But bread alone it is not enough for them. I haven't cooked anything tasty for them in such a long time.

We also need a table, a small table. The one they eat on could collapse any time. We need a couple of chairs. We need clothes, shoes for the kids and something to watch cartoons on - tablet or TV. The children were waiting for gifts for the New Year, but then they themselves reassured me that, probably, a dragon was waiting for them on the way.

- Deal! Saba, David, many good people will see your interview. They will say: “Oh, what good boys, we want to come to visit them and bring them a lot of gifts.” What would you like them to bring you?

  Saba: “Do you want me to repeat it again, right? Your memory is good for nothing? I want fruits and a green plane. Fruits, and a green plane, and cartoons"

  David: “I want to have a toy too and Spider-Man!”

  Saba and David never got gifts. They thought up an evil dragon and blamed all the troubles on him. They don't even believe in good aunts and uncles. They think that their fictional monster eats them along with the gifts. But we know that when we are together, we are not afraid of any dragons. We know that kids are more willing to believe in good. Tell me, friends, do children have to live like this? Can you imagine who you can become for them if you give them a costume of Spider-Man and fruits? You will become a superhero who defeats the most insidious dragon.
