“No one else in the world has such a big TV!!!”

- If you really try, you can make a house of this huge box where the TV lived! Don't laugh, let me show you how big it is! I have never seen such a big TV in my life! I bet you don't have one at home either! – 9-year-old Shalva was just delighted with his new TV. He dreamed about it just like his 5-year-old brother Sandro and sisters Nino and Barbara. But they could not even imagine that a TV could be so big, beautiful, and colorful. 

Sandro (5-year-old): Come to visit us, let's watch cartoons together!

When we told you the story about the Zazadze family https://chernovetskyifund.ge/en/projects/845-zazadze/ we had no idea that the most ordinary things could change the faces of children. We thought that it would be very difficult to make children, who no longer believed in miracles, happy. But just look at them! They have changed, they smile, they just glow from the inside!

Shorena: We say "thank you" to all of you... Five big "thank you"... One from me and the rest all from my four children. Someone will be surprised that a TV and a washing machine could make her so happy. But when you don’t have something and they give it to you, you rejoice not only in the thing itself, but also in the attention. It's nice to know that someone cared about you, someone let your children know that they also have the right to happiness and made their tiny hearts happy. The home where the children are sad, hungry, and cold is not a home... 

Shorena: Many kind people responded to the post! My family got so much love that I don’t know what to call these people: friends or just kind magicians who made our lives better? It’s a real miracle when so many people unite for your sake and help you. I will single out one man who came to visit us. He brought us food, clothes, books, sweets, toys and told me the following words: “Don’t be scared, everything will be all right”, - and left. The guardian angel came to us and gave us hope. There has never been anything more valuable in our lives than the attention and love that strangers have surrounded us with. May God bless each of you!!!

“We will have enough of these sweets for a thousand years!”

Shorena: Yes, our majority deputy David Songulashvili came to visit our family personally. He brought us food, and he also gave us a one-time assistance - 200 GEL. Besides that, he said he would pay our rent if the landlady signs special documents. To be honest, I did not expect such actions and attention from the authorities, and their attention made me happy. I would like to take this opportunity and once again personally thank Mr. David for his attention.

 “Do you want to try? You have never eaten such goodie before!”

Shorena: This help means a lot to my family. We used just to exist. After you appeared in our lives, we breathed a sigh of relief. We have hope for tomorrow. The support of people also relieved me of psychological stress, as if I had become stronger and more cheerful. My children have more fun at home watching TV. We watch the TV together - educational programs and programs for kids, that’s how we spend our time. You brought joy to our home, you brought something new. It's more than the words I've just said.

“Here, when you press with your finger, and our dirty clothes will become clean!”

Nino (12-year-old): I enjoyed the food the most. When I know that there is food at home, I fall asleep more calmly. My little brothers and sister no longer cry, and do not fight over one candy. The washing machine is just the best invention! You don’t have to carry water, and you don’t have to torture your hands, and our mother will no longer get tired so her mood will be better.

Sandro (5-year-old): I like a TV the most. Let me show it to you! Look! Do you have one? Do you want me to turn on Simba and so that we watch it together? It is our TV, only we have one like that. I used to watch cartoons on my neighbors TV, but now we stay at home and watch as much as we want.

Shalva (9-year-old): Mommy does not call us anymore: “Come home, stop bothering our neighbors!” When I grow up, I will also present on TV. I love when men talk on TV, and they are nicely dressed. You'll see, when I grow up, I will no longer have torn clothes and I will become a handsome man!

“Don’t look like that, I won’t give it to you. It’s for little kids.”

Shorena: Problems? Oh... I can't even hear that word. This word does not go away from my head, this state has become a part of our family. If not for you, endless suffering would pierce my heart like a bullet. You have already solved most of the problems and brought such ease into our lives. Although, of course, there are still unresolved issues in which I can once again rely on you and boldly share some of them with you. For example, we have a problem with the bed. All four children sleep on the same bed. It is difficult for them to even turn around in their sleep. Maybe there will be someone who has at least an old bed that he no longer needs. In a word, we will gladly accept any help, whether it be appliances, clothes, or food. When a person is in need, he will accept anything. The main thing is that it comes from heart.

Friends, the Zazadze family really need you, they hope on you. Your unity will save one more family from misery. It is very hard for them to survive in everyday life, since feeding four babies is associated with costs. They will be happy with any help. Let's once again gladden their hearts and light the torch of happiness in their eyes. We will be saved by love and support. And kindness will surely leave its trace.
