29-year-old Ani has been diagnosed with stage 4 malignant cancer – an aggressive form. This ruthless disease is devouring the young mother alive. The pain is so unbearable that sometimes the poor girl wishes for death herself. “Mommy, promise you won’t fly to heaven” – these were the words three-year-old Lazare whispered as he gently stroked his mother’s face with his tiny hands.

This ruthless cancer has turned the beautiful 29-year-old into someone who looks decades older. Today, three-year-old Lazare didn’t go to kindergarten. Seven-year-old Gennady also missed the school’s ceremonial start-of-year event. The children are afraid that when they return home, their mother won’t be there.

Treacherous metastases are consuming the poor girl alive. She writhes in pain. When Ani first saw a doctor, unfortunately, the cancer had already reached stage 4.

Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is a type of cancer that begins in the lymphatic system. In this disease, white blood cells turn into abnormal tumor formations throughout the body.

He should have been standing at the school gate in his new trousers, white shirt, and carrying his school bag – ready to play with his classmates in the schoolyard. Instead, the poor boy stood by the wooden doors, waiting for the reporter from the Chernovetskyi Fund. Having overheard a conversation between his grandmother and a neighbor, he stared down the village road with longing, waiting for the “stranger aunt” to arrive.

With each passing day, Ani’s chances of survival grow smaller.

Mzia (Ani’s mother) – My grandchildren tell me every day: ‘Grandma, promise you won’t let Mommy fly to heaven. You are her mother, and we do what our mothers tell us. So, promise, Grandma, you won’t let Mommy go to heaven.’ These words my grandchildren repeat every day, and my heart breaks into pieces. I live among people, but in reality, I am already dead.

Do not leave this poor mother alone in her fight for life.

29-year-old Ani should be enjoying motherhood, but instead, she is preparing to “lie in cold earth.”

Little Lazare told the Fund reporter that his mother used to have long, beautiful hair.

Lazare, 3: “Auntie, my mommy wasn’t always bald. The doctors cut her hair. I don’t really like it, but my mommy is still the most beautiful.”
