There’s nothing more horrifying! The body of an 11-year-old Georgian boy looks like skeleton of someone who was buried many years ago.
REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO GOD!

Look at the child’s body. Or rather – don’t. Because it can no longer even be called a body. It’s a skeleton – just like that of someone long dead. Lord, protect us all from such unspeakable horror.
Saba has never seen daylight. Right after birth, he was placed in an incubator for three months, then in intensive care. In his 11 years, he has undergone 12 surgeries – and no one knows how many more still lie ahead. My God, how does his tiny heart endure so much anesthesia, so much pain, such inhuman torment? How does he endure it? How?! There can be only one answer – this little angel wants to live so desperately that his heart keeps fighting to its very last beat.
When I, a correspondent of the Chernovetskyi Fund, together with one of our social workers, arrived at Saba’s home in Alambari, one of the most remote mountain villages in Kobuleti, we froze at the sight before us.
Before us lay, in essence, a lifeless child who occasionally opened his eyes.
And when the pain became unbearable, his moans were so heart-rending that we can still hear them – and probably never will forget them.
During the final months of his mother’s pregnancy, Saba’s brain stopped receiving oxygen. Immediately after birth, he was diagnosed with hydrocephalus. The brain damage was so severe that there wasn’t even a 1% chance of survival. But the power of God surpasses medicine! Saba survived. Yet sadly, he is completely paralyzed and can only breathe with the help of an oxygen machine.
The tragedy is that in a high-mountain village – especially in winter – power outages are frequent. The oxygen concentrator that keeps Saba alive runs on electricity. The family simply cannot afford to buy a generator.
Dear friends of the Fund, we don’t have to explain why purchasing a generator is the first and most urgent necessity for this dying child.
Before I tell you about Saba’s other needs, I want to share the terrible story that his family revealed to the Chernovetskyi Fund for the first time.
Eleven years ago, 22-year-old Tamuna was in the final month of pregnancy – about to give birth to Saba – when tragedy struck. Her blood pressure suddenly spiked so high that she lost consciousness. An ambulance crew was dispatched from Kobuleti to their mountain village. And now, let Tamuna’s mother continue the story herself:
Nona Verulidze (Saba’s grandmother) – “It was November. The ambulance made it up to our mountain village. Just a few meters from the house, the road became too narrow for the car to turn around. So we asked the doctor to walk those few meters to reach my daughter – 22 years old, nine months pregnant, unconscious.
And the doctor said, word for word: ‘I’m wearing high heels. I can’t climb uphill.’
Former investigator Leonid told us that, under the Criminal Code, abandoning a person in danger – especially when their life is at risk – is punishable by law.
We intend to file an appeal with the prosecutor’s office to demand that this heartless person, hiding behind a doctor’s mask, be held criminally accountable. What do you think, friends? Should someone like that be sitting in prison – or walking freely “in high heels” in Kobuleti, living life as before?”
Nona Verulidze (Saba’s grandmother) – “While we waited, Tamuna fell into a coma. Neighbors helped me carry her down to the ambulance. Too much time was lost… far too much. And then Saba was born with this diagnosis. What caused it — you can draw your own conclusion, my child.” – Saba’s grandmother told me this, and it seemed as though she exhaled all her pain with those words.
From the Fund’s correspondent – Even 11 years later, the family still remembers the name of that heartless “doctor.” As a reporter, I cannot disclose it, but I am sure that this woman – or someone close to her – will read this article.
Look at this child – really look. He has been suffering unimaginable pain for 11 long years. And perhaps all because that doctor from Kobuleti – whose initials are D.I. – chose her high-heeled shoes over saving the life of a young woman and her unborn child.
All the neighbors confirm the family’s story. That’s why the Chernovetskyi Fund will immediately contact the Kobuleti Emergency Medical Center to report her name. If she is still employed there, we hope appropriate measures will be taken – so that such a tragedy never happens again.
As for our poor little Saba – he urgently needs a portable oxygen cylinder that can work without electricity, for when he needs to be moved. He also needs tracheostomy tubes, stoma pads, special nutrition, diapers, and hygiene products – all things the family can no longer afford after spending everything they had over these 11 years.
Because of this, Saba’s younger siblings – 9-year-old Helen and 4-year-old Alex – go without many basic things, yet they never once complain.

Elene (9): “When other kids play, I don’t. How can I play when my little brother lies motionless in bed? Every morning when I wake up, I run to his crib in fear and put my ear to his chest – listening to his heartbeat, checking if he’s still alive.”
At first, I thought Saba couldn’t hear his sister’s words.
But then I saw tears running down his face – and at that moment I realized: this child wants to live far more than we can imagine.
Kind hearts, let’s not leave this child alone in his fight for life. The family has exhausted every possible resource. Without treatment, the boy doesn’t even have a 1% chance of survival. His tiny bone-thin hands are reaching out for help – and if we don’t take hold of them, his small heart will stop beating forever. And for the rest of our lives, we will never forget his eyes – the silent plea of an angel we failed to hear.
