The tumor is ruthless. It tries to steal the life that was given to her by God. It spares no one – not children, not women, not the elderly. Its “goal” is always the same: a death sentence.

That is exactly the sentence our compatriot, a gentle, devout woman named Rusa, is now facing.

There is fear in her eyes… The fear of dying.

Rusa is very modest. She told me that the first time she decided to call the Chernovetskyi Fund, she typed in the number… but immediately erased it – too embarrassed to ask strangers for help.

In May 2025, doctors found a tumor in her intestine – already in an advanced stage. During surgery, they discovered her condition was far worse than expected. 

The surgeon had to remove the entire left section of the abdominal fat tissue. Poor Rusa is now undergoing chemotherapy. But the worst part is still ahead.

Post‑surgery tests revealed three metastatic nodes – quietly destroying her body minute by minute. Every new day brings this kindhearted woman closer to death. We cannot allow that to happen.

Rusa, 40: “People try to encourage me, but in the end you’re still alone. No one can walk this road for you.”

She urgently needs to travel to a clinic in Turkey for additional diagnostics. The cost is just $1,000. Only a thousand – yet because she does not have this amount, death draws nearer every day.
