REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

He is 17 but he can’t do anything without his mom. When he is hungry, he squeezes his mommy’s hand and leads her to the kitchen. “It was so cute when he was two years old. And now it is so bitter to look at … ”

Irina: Nothing has changed for me for 17 years. It’s like I’m living the same day. Get up, feed him, dress him, wash him, change his diapers, take him out for a walk, feed him, change his clothes, bathe him, put him to bed, pray and fall asleep next to him- that’s my entire life. I can’t leave my son for a minute. Even for a minute!
– Have you been alone for a long time?
Irina: No. My husband left us three years ago. This was his initiative. I can’t say that he left us because of his son’s illness. But I can’t give you the exact reason either.

“My son is the eternal baby”

How did he treat Tamaz when he was born?
Irina: Fine. He helped me take care of him. My father-in-law loved my Tamazik the most. He adored him, he did everything for him. We also went to clinics in Tbilisi. I may safely say that the fact that Tamaz can move independently now is a merit of my father-in-law.
– How did you feel when you were left alone with Tamaz?
Irina: My husband paid our rent for three months, and that’s it. After that, I wander around in different apartments. We’ve been living here for almost a year now. Our landlady is so sweet and kind. She does not raise our rent and does not kick us out if I am late with payment. The previous owners did not forgive us even one day of delay – they immediately kicked us out. Can you imagine what it feels like for a sick child who can’t even walk well to end up in the street?

How can Tamaz be kicked out into the street? Would you do that?

I see that your living conditions are good, and you have all the necessary appliances.
Irina: Do you know how it happens in Georgia? A complete stranger can do much more good for you than your closest acquaintance. I thank God that He sent us this kindest woman. She left us everything, even the TV, when she saw how my boy rejoices, listening to songs, how he sings along. This is his only consolation.
– May God make everyone meet such a person on his way! Irina, how do you manage to pay rent and buy diapers and food?
Irina: Our income is 170 lari of allowance and 275 lari of my son’s pension. So, count yourself. He is already an adult – I can’t leave him without diapers. This is a disaster for him. We need three packs a month. Each pack costs 40 GEL. You have also pay for utilities, so 150 GEL per month remains for food. Is it possible to feed a child with this money? Tamaz is hungry all the time.

When Tamaz is hungry, he leads his mom to the kitchen holding her by hand

How does he let you know he’s hungry?
Irina: He never uttered even a word. When he is hungry, he crawls to the table, takes a spoon and brings it to me. Or he takes my hands and drags me into the kitchen. It repeats several times a day. How to explain to him that he must eat less? He doesn’t understand anything. It’s also good that they give him sedatives for free. When he gets sick or his temperature goes up, I cannot always buy antipyretics for him.

By the end of month when the allowance is completely spent, poor Tamaz eats just bread

Is there anyone you can address in a hard time? Friends or relatives?
Irina: In the hardest moments, strangers stand next to me. My neighbors, or people who just know about my misfortune. Even in the store sometimes they give me something for free. I addressed your Fund, just because I believe in the kindness of strangers.
You can’t even imagine how many good people will respond. What do you need first of all, how can they support you?
Irina: First of all, we need diapers and then groceries. If I can save money on that, the pension will be probably enough for us. My another big dream is a TV set. One that our landlady lent us is old and it sometimes does not work. I will be immensely grateful if you do it for my son.

“My entire life belongs only to my son. This is a lot of mothers of disabled children”

– The entire Georgia will hear you!
Irina: May I also address mothers who raise their disabled children alone? Girls, it’s very hard, but hold on. Pull yourself together and cry all your tears in one go. Believe me, you won’t have time for this anymore. Accept it with humility and carry your cross. Thank God for every day spent next to your child. They have no one but you! Please be strong.

“We are responsible for our children, no matter what they are”

***
Only moms can do such heroic acts. Only they can carry a child in their arms for 17 years without uttering a word of discontent. Only they can thank God for every minute spent with a child. You can’t leave these mothers alone!
Friends let’s unite as always and help Irina and Tamaz. Let’s not leave this heroic mother to the mercy of fate. Now they need our help, as a thirsty person needs water!
You will make Irina very happy if you can visit her and support her family. They just need food and diapers, and the rest is up to you!
If anyone is willing to visit and help them in person, here is their address:  Zeatponi, Kvaliti, 23 Shatirashvili Str.
Every time you can help someone, just do it, and rejoice that God answers someone’s prayers through you!
We are sure that all together we will manage to save them from imminent death.
Please don’t forget to repost our story. Let your friends know about the grief of this family! It’s extremely important!

REPOST RIGHT AWAY, MY GOOD MAN! HELP YOUR FRIENDS TO GET CLOSER TO THE WORK OF MERCY!

“It’s so heartwarming when my son is joyful and happy.  We feel warm and comfortable in your big family”

Tamazi will never notice that there are new things in the house – neither a gas stove, nor a refrigerator, nor a washing machine.  Due to cerebral palsy (CP), he’s forever a little boy – he can’t talk, he can’t eat or dress himself, and he walks hand in hand with his mom. But there is one thing he always notices – delicious food! Khachapuri, baked in the new oven, makes him incredibly happy.  The kyufta prepared by his mom brings him tremendous joy.

He will never know that during our project, hundreds of people came to care for him. He’s comfortable in his diapers, just like a little baby, and he enjoys his meals. But his mother, Irina, who is raising him on her own, knows well about your tremendous support and is deeply grateful to all of you for it.

Tamazi will never know that hundreds of people came to care for him. Thank you for wholeheartedly caring about his comfort!

Irine: How wonderful it is that your projects exist!  Where else could poor people like us turn to?!  I’m so grateful I heeded my neighbor’s advice and reached out to you. At first, I felt hesitant – how could I impose on so many people? But she told me, ‘Irina, they will take care of you from start to finish; write to them right away.’  And she was absolutely right – you provided us with the appliances, diapers, food, medications. You embraced us as if we were family, showering us with love. Somehow, my initial reluctance faded away, and I realized that your Fund is like one big caring family, where looking out for each other is a given.  Readers can easily pick up the phone, inquire about what’s needed, what’s lacking, and then take action to help. Your staff is incredibly warm, always by our side, providing support. I genuinely enjoy being a part of your extended family, feeling the love and attention. All the compassionate and sensitive souls have come together here. It’s as if God Himself has gathered you all.

– What gifts did you like the most?

Irine: Everything that helps me breathe easier and feel less tired.  Thank you so much!  I used to have a two-burner gas stove that smoked.  You gave me a big stove with an oven. As soon as I can buy cheese or someone gives it for Tamazi, I bake khachapuri.  You can’t imagine the joy it brings to my son!  Food is his only source of happiness! I bake cookies and muffins for him.  It’s so heartwarming when he smiles. I feed him and kiss him.”

“The oven is excellent! I cook both khachapuri and cookies for Tamazi. If only we had the ingredients! I’ll do anything for my boy!”

“That’s it, it’s all over! No more hand-washing laundry! This is a salvation!”

I stocked up on groceries many times after your assistance. I would go to the store and buy minced meat, chicken, grains, and something special for Tamazi – sweets, nuts. You helped me save money; I didn’t have to spend my entire pension and social support on groceries. You also helped me save time – I no longer wash clothes by hand; I just put everything in the washing machine.    Tamazi’s bed stays clean thanks to the diapers.  Just the other day, the Fund delivered diapers worth 150 lari; I was so happy.  Diapers and groceries are our primary needs.

“I can’t stop being grateful for the new refrigerator. Now everything in my household is in order”

“Our main needs are diapers and groceries. We need three packs of diapers per month”

– Let’s convey to our readers that they can lend a hand with diapers and groceries anytime they can.  What other challenges are on your mind? What else would you like to see resolved?

Irine: Yes, Tamazi needs three diapers a day, and in winter, it’s more. So, three packs per month in total. I worry because I don’t have my own home. I have to move from one apartment to another with my sick child. But that’s not a question for you; it’s my expectations from the authorities, which they have not fulfilled in any way.

– Have you talked to them, explained the situation?”

Irine: Many times. A few days ago, I went to the district administration to ask them to pay the rent.  Even if they would cover the rent for a few months, it would be a huge help to me. But they don’t want to, they aren’t moved by it.

– What does the help and support from our readers mean to you?

Irine: It’s salvation when other doors are closed.  Only very compassionate people feel the pain of others so keenly and seek every way to help.  If only I had the means!  I would like to act like you, live by this philosophy. Despite all my difficulties, I, too, have been infected by your optimism and hope.

“My son can sense my mood, and right now, my mood is on the rise.  After interacting with all of you, I’ve been infected with hope and optimism”

By providing groceries and diapers to this little family, we’re helping Mom, Irina, allocate her pension and social benefits to cover their numerous expenses. During our time working with them, Tamazi has grown another year and is now 18. He even has a small mustache above his lip. However, he will never be able to care for himself and his mom. He may never fully understand the extent of what’s being done for him.  Remember, the Lord always sees and appreciates your compassion, love, and support.

If you have a heavy heart because of everyday problems or unresolved issues, as a distraction just see our posts on Facebook, or better call any of our beneficiaries, and all your problems will seem unimportant to you, compared with the problems of those to whom you helped in the most difficult moment of their lives.

Our problems are nothing if compared… Here are true misfortunes, in front of your eyes! Just thank the Lord for what you have. You are the happiest person in the world! Remember this and help those in need.

Unfortunately, problems of this and other families do not end here and now… Therefore, from time to time, look through the stories of unhappy people on our website, and talk to them. Every time you dial the Phone of an unhappy person, God is blessing you! For sure! Go on helping these families! This is the best service to the Lord!
